That is the scan for the rock composition of the ore deposit we were mining, not the cargo hold. you can see what's in mining holds when you are in mining mode, usually it works for the argo but i believe its a bug or been removed since the new mfds came into the game!

Give it a go! just be warned its buggy and changes state alot albeit less now than before. Right now i would wait till 4.0 gets its full release on live.

haha yea Auto load is nice when the physics ain't working right, eating into those profits is real for mining with refinement cost and time sink for the most mats. i cant wait for crafting when we can start hoarding these materials! Cheers!

Yea i feel like its a bug with the new mfds, i remember being able to see all the mining information on the hud in the mole like you're inside a turret or in the prospector. I suspect they'll fix it... eventually lol. it does add extra time when you can't search from the moles cockpit like you could before.

Haha no problem! i wanted to show a fair estimate especially since we don't have crafting yet, so hoarding refined mats isnt gonna do anything. I'm always speculative that they will wipe the economy again so the best thing i can do that keeps all this hard work safe is to convert it into auec for now. Check out [ regolith.rocks/workorder ] it will help you a ton with sorting out rocks, mining process and just an fyi you can make this much in stanton too! although i think some rare materials are located in pyro i could be wrong.

i had to use the biggest mining laser helix size 2, get danger close, apply stampede and surge modules to get the bar to go up

so i had destroyed about 50-60% of the rock through overheating buuut still made out with 14scu of refined quant. it netted me just shy of 1mil

The pain i felt when i saw my eye balls pop out during the explosion was immense, waiting for that 3.24.2 release to post another vid!!

Yea its a real bummer, also the fact that we cant open our cargo really puts the carrack in sore spot :(

Sometimes i'll take out the Terrapin just to fly around in it, such a great ship, the exploration pack has some real gems in it, i'll be waiting with anticipation for the ship to get its updated pass.

Currently there are 5 ships i believe that have a med bed, the Carrack and the 890 jump have tier 2 beds, allowing all but the most severe injuries to be healed and respawning up to 50km away. the other ships and vehicles that have tier 3 beds are the ursa medvac, c8r pisces ( both which can fit into the carrack), and the cutlass red.

@@bigmoobs2965 SO ARE YOU SAYING IF YOU LOG OUT IN A MED BED AND EXPECT TO LOG BACK IN THAT SAME MED IT MUST BE A TIER 3 BED ?

So materials like quantanium are volatile, they will degrade the longer you keep them extracted in your ship, once you start collecting quant, you have approx 30 min to get it back to a refinery and begin processing it. In the lore this is due to the unstable nature of the material and without proper processing it begins to lose integrity.

I know T.T i still came out with 350k with the remainder tho, easily a 750k-1mil rock right there, and that's why i keep coming back to the mining loop so much fun when you spike on tier 1 mats

Welcome back haha. She's a special ship for sure! They did a great job with the looks and feels of the ship. Would love to see all three lasers firing up on a 30-50k rock.
