By 'Fitrah', we mean the way in which Mother Nature has designed all things to look, as well as to behave. Fitrah is speaking to a thing's form and function. Once this is studied and understood, we will have gained a much more nuanced understanding of Qur'anic words in that every Arabic letter is connected to an object in the Fitrah, beginning with parts of the human body. The objects, how they look and how they perform, are then factored into the meaning of the word chosen for the Qur'an by Allah (the Source Creator).
