Over the years travelling and doing expeditions, I have learned the value of zoning out for a few minutes, stop thinking, turn that voice in your head off, allow a moment of enjoyment from nature to regain "Calm on your Farm". Glowing sharks Cape Town
In 2017 we embarked on an idea to expand our understanding of fluorescent marine species, following awesome work published by Gruber ands colleges. I am now embarked on my PHD to see how we can use this fluorescence towards shark and ray conservation. It is an ambitious plan, but I could just work, and light could be the key to success. Stay tuned, short videos of glowing species and our journey to come soon.
