Some of them do. The new Mercedes e class has a sensor. The new Hyundai venue has a sensor. This car however isn't new. There are some cars that are NOT equipped with a gas cap at all. then again, my car is newer with no gas cap sensor. It just depends on the manufacturer.
Shiit the Hyundai venue even has a red light sensor to inform you when the car in front of you has moved away from a stop sign
