YETI GoBox 15 Pack Attic Hack!
Переглядів 18 тис.2 місяці тому
In this video, I'm excited to share my YETI GoBox 15 Pack Attic hack. The GoBox 15 is one of my favorite YETI products, but I found it was missing one key feature that could make it even better. After extensive searching, I finally discovered the perfect solution. I made this video to share my findings with you. Do you have a cool hack of your own? Feel free to share it with us in the comments ...
Not entirely sure but think they went single wall to keep its slim profile and light, maybe they’ll add another soon that has double wall. Definitely want to get this for some whiskey just plain awesome design.
That totally makes sense. The design is slick looking and it does feel great in the hand. Hopefully Yeti gets them in stock soon!
I use my 35L every weekend to lug beach stuff including my outdoor speaker, food and liquor bottles as it’s strong enough to handle most weight I throw at it. In the fall it’s flyfishing gear. It’s truly one of the best Yeti pieces I’ve ever bought and a great gift to give. Cleans up great with a little dish detergent, a scrub brush and a garden hose. My friends have all bought one after seeing mine.
It really is a do it all bag. Once people feel the quality in hand and see how useful it is they’re generally sold lol. My fav Yeti item hands down.
Great review, do you have any links for the third party accessories?
Thank you 🙏. I added some good third party accessories to the description. Check them out. You can also search molle Accessories. Just be careful what direction the molle's are going because Yeti products have their molle's going horizontally. I generally like to use carabiners and use whatever I want.
@@dlowder great, thank you
who is putting cold drinks in a flask? double walled makes no sense
There are a large number of people who like their spirited drinks cold. I’ve been told for some it goes down much smoother. I know traditional flasks are single walled but I thought with Yeti being known to over engineer their products that it wasn’t out of pocket to suggest. It would have made their product different from the others on the market.
Could you please offer us an email address that we could connect?
Don't own this yet but w this video alone sold me on this yeti box, thanks
I appreciate the kind words 🙏. It’s such a versatile tool. The more I play around with it the more unique uses I come up with. If you look around you can save yourself 20-25% off.
Really nice review. Good share
Thank you 🙏

Really super job!
Thank you 🙏, Much appreciated.
@@dlowder you are most welcome!
Looks like somw cheap ass flask that they just laser etched their logo onto. No way is it worth whatever yeti is charging
I think a lot of people agree with you. I think it's interesting to see Yeti explore items outside what they're known for.
The fly hit him in the head 😂
😂
They have been sold out since Father’s Day in June. Are they a special product or will they make more?
They were a “limited drop” but I’ve heard rumours that another batch may be coming in the fall. Canada didn’t get them at all and they’re still on the website so I would assume those rumours are true.
This is awesome!
Thank you 🙏

Meh. Nop! I am HUGE Yeti fan, I already have mostly of the Yeti items, but this one is missing a lot of important details. I think they can improve it
I think a lot of people agree with you. It is cool that Yeti continues to explore new products. I’m pumped to see what else they may have coming down the pipeline. I’m personally hoping to see a V2 of the duffel bag.
Yooo I literally have my whole camera gear in the big yeti go box !!
It’s such a great option with or over a bag! Do you have any photos of your setup? It’s cool to see how different people decide to set their kit up.
Unfortunately no i just have cage accessories and my camera gear are all in lowpro boxes i have inserts from a pelican box but I haven’t created a setup inside yet
@@DanielHernandez-q3n Sounds like a good modular setup to me.
Amazing! Would you be interested in collaborating with our outdoor water heater😀
Thank you very much 🙏. We can connect and discuss in email.
@@dlowder We didn't find your email address, so could you please send us your email address?
Where do I get this “pack attic” gear?
Helinox. Should be a link in the description to their website. It was on sale last I looked.
thank you so much! Great and thorough review.
Great video. Great hack! Do you have to buy the Velcro that is tacked on to the GoBox? Would love to see how you did the install of the pouches.
@@vanguardmade Yeah I bought velcro off Amazon. I cut longer pieces of the fuzzy side and stuck it on the box. For the bottom I used no name velcro and the top I used Velcro brand. I can say the Velcro brand has a tougher hold but they both work. I'll see about making a short on how I did it.
Hi Dan, where did you get your Yeti patch on your cooler?
Hi Hugo 👋🏼, They have them on the Yeti website! Search “patch” you will see “built for the wild” patch. Click the yellow dot just under it and that should be it. It’s my fav patch at the moment. Makes the black bags really pop!
As someone who drinks and golfs. The single walled flask seems nice because I can just throw it in my yeti cooler with some beers and it’ll get cold
That’s a really good point. I’ll have to try that out.

This product should have been reviewed by someone who knows how to use a flask and is familiar with flasks.
@@RickfromLafayette Please make a review on the flask so you can show us an alternative perspective.
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Love the Camino I have a 20 and a 35 both in pink and I use my 35 as my work bag and the 20 as my weekend bag.
@@gcstephy The 20 is beautiful in its own right. I’ve had people doubt me on just how amazing and useful they are but the second they give one the chance it’s a wrap. Next time you see them they’re so sold on it they start ordering other Yeti items.
@@dlowder yeti is such a great brand I tried getting into Stanley bought two cups and went right back to yeti
@@gcstephy I think Stanley became so popular because of the unique appealing colours they released in combination of utilizing social media. I'll admit some look really nice but it is bulky to me.
Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more: bit.ly/DanLowder_Subscribe
Double walled is for cold stuff though. Personally, I don’t know anyone that has cold spirits in a flask.
Also, you take lid off for a swig, then put it back on. 🤷🏼♂️
3L is waaaay too big! I can’t stand looking at my Camp Green 3L on my Flip 8 or 12
I feel people get those coolers for the compact size and how easy they are to carry around. That's why I think the 1L is a better fit for those coolers in particular. Adding a 3L or 6L starts making it bulky and impacting usability. Of course at the end of the day it comes down to your particular use case.
@@dlowder I agree 💯 about making it more portable but aesthetically it just looks “off putting”. Take for example that the same 3L pouch looks more compatible with my Camino 35 which is a bigger bag. In that instance it doesn’t look so out of place. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to think this way and for that reason alone I’m glad you addressed it here and hopefully YETI takes notice and makes them more sleek
@@j_riv_23 Yeti knows what they are doing. They are not going to get it right the first time or two. They want us to buy as many we can and then some.
How much was this? It’s not on the site
50usd. Rumours are another batch is coming soon.
Love the 1L size but the one strap on the back annoyed the crap out of me. Went back to the 3L myself because of that reason.
Seems like a lot of people feel the same way. Hopefully they update it to have two in the next iteration. I will say after using it a couple months it does have its upsides. I take it off and on my flip 12 fast depending on my use for the day. The size is perfect in my opinion.
You call it a funnel, i call it a bowl, we have very different vices
crack > whiskey any day

pretty sick lol
I have a feeling most will just wing it without a funnel.
that flask looks clean as hell, and i dont even use them haha
Even if you don’t use them it would make a good decor item.
I like the metal on metal noise - very classic to a flask
yeah me too, i feel like that sound is a requirement for a flask haha
That's a good point! The metal on metal noise really does add a classic touch to a flask.
really good informative review, i have no use for a flask but it looks so clean i might just get one lol
The Flask was a very limited release. If your a collector it's definetly going to be a sought after item.
@@dlowder Yeti always says everything is a limited release, then always release more later down the road. They’ve got me a few times with that “create urgency” play. Good video tho, I’ve been waiting for someone to make one. I really don’t drink except when I’m on the beach, and that’s corona time for me, so idk how useful this would be to me, but you better believe I still want one.
Thank you 🙏🏻. That’s so true. They’ve got me as well. One time in particular was the Pre Dawn Collection. Now it’s been added as a core colour.

solid review, what table is that?
That's the Helinox Cafe Table. It's a hidden gem. amzn.to/4enwOxl
Thanks for the in-depth review. Looks like a quality blanket for the price!
It's definetly worth checking out. It's an item that you continue to like the more you use it.
