A lot of venomous snakes around the tracks eastern browns death adders and red belly blacks.. and it gets very narrow and dodgy in parts
I use to go there as a kid..Great place to visit, recomend to all.
So cool! it was a definitely a great place!
Cool little find! Nice to see a proper solo adventure too
Hahaha True, Might have to do more solo!
Nice fish
Good work
Cheers!
Very sad story to hear about the aboriginal people and one of their tragic stories. Good for you for spreading awareness on this Dan!
Definitely sad and surprising how little I had heard about it prior. Glad to be able to share this with others!
probably designed in the era when Masonry was very strong throughout the state public service. Quite a few symbols of ancient Egypt remain throughout our infrastructure.
I suspect your correct! Once you have seen this type of architecture, it definitely resembles others that even i've seen, just in NSW!
Listen, I’m nine and my dad owns one of these and I shot it held it all of that before it is not heavy. You are just a weakling.
Lexi, I’m 90 my dad owns one of these and Charlotte before and held it before
Great work, mate! My maternal great-grandfather served in the AIF in the Middle East during the closing years of World-War I, and I still have a small trinket box he brought home from Jerusalem as a present for his daughter, my grandmother, and which I inherited from my great-aunt. It is carved (rather crudely) with a picture of the Mosque of Omar. You're right in saying that when the Cordeaux Dam and its satellites were built the discovery of King Tut's entirely underground tomb had made all things Egyptian very fashionable -- but there were plenty of above-ground monuments to inspire their architects. The temple of Philae for instance.
Oh wow, what an amazing story!! Thank you for leaving this in a comment! I also appreciate the extra effort to help me learn more about Egypt, before reading this I didn't know all of the terms you mentioned and now I really feel more enlightened. Cheers!!
I've got a deer every year since 1996 on my No1mk3.... They are great and durable
Nice looking weapon there, and great story!
Just wait till he shoots it. It has recoil unlike his ar 15
Hey what a cool find your channel is! I liked seeing part of the drive to the location, but I might suggest a map with a typical route from Sydney would be a good addition to videos of this type of content.
Google maps?
Thank you !! I appreciate the kind words and feedback, and think that would be a great idea. I will try include a map with route in the future!
@@daviddou1408 Its is a great idea, but from my research I'm not allowed to use google map images in a video without proper attribution, I am still working on how to do this without copyright issues...
Love living in a great state with good moral people that value the constitution , it looks like any gun store by me
Really, never been into a gun store myself! I did enjoy seeing the history in this museum though!
@I respect that, me 2. Forgottenweapons does a great job covering history of weapon systems on UA-cam.
@@osiriseye6335 Good shout, they do a decent job of it! cheers!
"Mumma, I'm on TV!!" Was such a fun adventure dude, pleasure to be a part of it!
Hahaha! It was a great trip, gotta do even more!
Shame about the weather that weekend!!! Some nice scenery shots though and looks like u all had fun 👍😀
Could have been less rainy, but yep it was a good time!
In come the water cycle lol
love me some marbles 🤩
Hahaha They are cool as!
Makes you wonder how they did it without petroleum jelly......
Oh it can be done, just a little hack that makes it easier with a flint and steel. You could also use a lighter but this is more fun Imo haha!
Love the little Hat termite people 🤣
They where fun to make !
The vaseline is a top tip, nice one, I'll put a jar in my kit with some cotton buds!! 👍
Hahaha, awesome! it really does work well, its sure to make fire lighting easier for you!
That’s a niiiiiiice boulder
Hahaha Gottem XD
A monolith? No its a rock
Yep your right, although it is technically either / both as a monolith is defined as a large single upright block of stone :)
Haha you found the zombie killer PPSH. Mad dude !!!
Hahaha yep, How cool is that !!
I will be visiting in March and I'm legit concerned I'll cry at the muesum.
It was very moving, I was no different almost brought to tears a few times, the real life artefacts really open our eyes to all that happened. Still 100% worth the visit, do not leave it out if you have the time! Make sure to pack some extra tissues!
Great footage Dan. Fab to see Darwin n loved the fish feeding n Croc Spot Tour!!
Indeed, what a cool EXP!
In terms of wildlife is it safe to say camping in Australia is the most dangerous ?
Good Question, camping in AUS is pretty safe in terms of carnivorous animals, we don't have bears, or big cats or the like. but we do have very venomous snakes and spiders which can be dangerous!
@@DanVenturesOut yeah I’ve got really bad arachnophobia so I wouldn’t last but man that is a lovely little spot you got yourself there, thanks for the knowledge brotha. Gonna ask you one more thing, how do you deal with the animals and critters ? Are people against killing the spiders and snakes or is it kinda fair game when out in the wild ?
@@lowqualityedits6265 Oooo yeah that would be hard, there are definitely spiders on every 2nd tree out in aus, even get huntsmen in my bedroom at home hahaha! Your welcome mate, ask any time, ill do my best to answer :). ahhh honestly, we just deal with them as needed, take some bug spray for the spiders or a a good old smack with a boot, snakes i wouldn't even go near tho, most are too dangerous. no real problem killing anything, unless endangered, and even then if its human vs animal, the animal taking one for the team!
@@DanVenturesOut haha I love that response, I think I’d legitimately faint if I saw a big ass huntsman, I’m just glad Scotlands deadliest animal is a cow haha
@@lowqualityedits6265 Hahaha, so good! Yeah they are pretty disgusting, so i definitely get ya! oh yeah, that sounds so nice haha! Cheers for the great Qs!
yes that can
Haha holy crap 14:40
Yep that's a big fella! His jaw is longer than my arm!
Wow.. Looks GORGEous !
Hahaha !! Good one Mate!
Love from india ❤
Bloody hell those things are massive!
Those termite mounds are on the large side for sure hahaha!!
Some great footage there Dan. Loved the Buley water holes….fab spot to cool off n enjoy the refreshing flowing water :))
Yeah definitely some great spots out there in Litchfield !
More like 3hrs east of Darwin 😮
Your right! Ooops, got myself mixed up apparently, Definitely 3 hours east of Darwin!
Ah unlucky on the line breaks ! Seems like a fun day
Next time im getting a good one hahaha
Rifle looks good on ya mate!!
Hahaha! been thinking its time to get one, maybe i should XD
That really impacted me. I’ll never forget being there.
It was the same for me, what an experience...really eye opening.
I absolutely LOVE this style of video, my feed is full of top 5s / top 10s. A different way to see your fave things about Japan too👏Awesome stuff !
Awesome Dude! I will endeavour to do more top 5 vids in the future!
This looks so beautiful with all the autumn colors! Which month was this shot in?
@@Haylomeni It was so amazing there! This was from November :)
Nice
At 12:09 that sign saying " some pretty cool information", was some really bizarre miss information. It must have been a Friday arvo and the signwriter was late for the pub.. If they poured mass concrete without the cooling pipes, the concrete would have set that fast, the concrete would have simply cracked and been useless for a dam wall. The curing of concrete is just as important as the water cement ratio in maintaining it's strength...Just saying. I too have lived in Sydney all of my life and haven't seen the Dam either lol..
@@richyearle007 wow, I gotta admit I took the sign as fact and assumed it would be correct haha, very interesting what you said here!
"Ya bums" 😂
@@notdonni23 Hahaha honestly tho. Bit dam annoying!
First ❤
Good video mate.
@@TheRealBobSmith. Thanks, Appreciate it!
These days they use a chemical called "quik" to set the concrete faster.
Most fluoridated water source in the country.
Good to see some of SYDs major water catchment areas, thx Dan :)
@@HhHh-cy1of True, was some really interesting info there too!
The thought of the lovely mug was enough!! LOL :) We will have to make sure Grandee gets to see this one as she would love the staghorns and you thinking of her xXx
:) It would be good to show her some more of these vids!
Thank you for sparing us the gore!! Glad Ben got himself a catch. Really enjoyed the brief footage of the drive home on the bends - looked fab :)
Hahaha, the young fella was so happy! Aye, Thanks!
