Hey thanks for that! And yes, that’s exactly how I do it. I use a third party listing software, then scan in the product barcode, fold up the item (usually apparel), place it in a clear poly bag, and then place the Amazon generated barcode on the outside of the bag, then into the box it goes. I ship out un Home Depot medium sized boxes and can usually fit 50-75 items per box depending on size/weight. Hope that helped!

Hey, unfortunately if you are gated in a brand you won’t just be able to sell one unit. You would need to submit an invoice that showed a total of at least ten units for it to be considered for ungating. Don’t let that stop you though. Keep looking for other items you’re not currently gated in and sell those until you can get ungated in more brands. You got this!

Hey thanks! So I got ungated in the worst way possible. A few years back I paid some company $1000 to ungated me in Nike, adidas, and UA. Where as now I’ve come to learn that you can literally buy 10 units of an item from any of those websites and use the order confirmation to get ungated. Look up Flips 4 Miles ungating here on UA-cam. You’ll find some really good content going over the process

Hey thanks! You can go to almost any discount store like Ross, Tj max, marshalls, Burlington, or even a Nike/adiddas outlet store if you have any close by

The best way to do it is just download the card cash app and buy directly through there. Then your gift cards will be listed and you can pull up a barcode for the cashier to scan. Super easy

Normally I just use the eBay discounted shipping. I’ve checked into pirate ship a few times, but the prices were pretty similar so I didn’t think it was worth the extra steps of adding the tracking info on eBay. Estimating shipping can be intimidating, but the more you sell the better your estimations get. Also, if you’re considering selling something on eBay, just look at the listings and see what other people are charging for shipping. That should get you pretty close to where you need to be to make sure you don’t lose money on shipping.

Pirate ships sincs with ebay, automatically puts in tracking... it is less expensive than eBay shipping, it's your account so you have better control...LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES

Yes, it’s the same. Your account itself will be gated to sell certain products no matter if you’re selling them FBM or FBA. I don’t have any content out on ungating at the moment, but if you look up Flips 4 Miles on UA-cam, you’ll find some great info on how to get ungated

Sign up for the kohls email newsletter and they always email when the sale starts. Usually it’s been once every three to four months

I never really had the space to keep inventory, plus I didn’t like the idea of having to pick and ship packages all day. But I’m considering adding some fbm into my operation now that I’m in a place with more space.

I haven’t had to do that specifically, but from what I’ve heard from others, that will suffice. What you need to do though, is take a photo of the item with the Burlington tag still attached, make sure you can see the Burlington tag clearly so the item number is showing, then match that item number to the receipt and Amazon should accept it no issues.

I hope that’s something I didn’t overlook with those Nike shirts 😳 I’ve caught incorrect sizing issues while scanning in the past, but I didn’t notice that on this occasion, so fingers crossed lol. Getting a resale permit is definitely something I’ve slacked on. I used to have one years ago when I ran a clothing brand, but for my Amazon biz, I never ended up getting one. I recently moved from California to Ohio, so I’ll have to check out the process here and finally get one. Saving that 8-10% would be huge!

In my experience, yes, items tend to sell way faster on Amazon than on EBay. My eBay store is only a few months old though and just broke 100 listings, so it could be that I just don’t have enough offerings to be moving stuff super fast on eBay yet.

@@TheFeralFlipper they have it some places in California too because I’ve got it when I was in California before. It’s not spicy though. I used to live in California, and I still go sourcing there because I know all of the good thrift store routes there.
