This game never stops getting better. It might only be a 14-20 hour game but on the next few playthrough you keep getting better and the story gets and mechanics keep getting more interesting. Honestly I can say this is my favorite game I’ve ever played and I’ve never even played any of the other armored cores. I can’t believe Joe started to have fun with it I thought he was hating it

I can't believe how this guy can create such complex stories, but then comes up with, "I developed resistance to anesthesia." and "I developed resistance to it (TC-Perge)" It's like you create a masterpiece, but you made your paint out of garbage so it stinks like hell.

words cannot express how much of a letdown of a PvE game this is. every mission that's not a boss is basically easy difficulty slop that's unoriginal and boring, every mission thats a boss is like sekiro bosses. also has easy anti cheat which makes the game stutter, and omg WHO CARES ABOUT THE PVP the entire mission is also on a rail ride, you are just led by the nose where to go and what to do

Take a shot everytime somebody says "6 years ago" in both these games

Maybe he comments on it near the end of the stream or in a future stream but its so jarring to watch someone play this game and not pick up on the amount of gay jokes with Ryuki and Date because it stood out to me a lot on my own playthrough and my friends were constantly joking with me about it when they played this game lol

It's weird how in combat specifically Bethesda seem to have doubled down on RPG mechanics. Like in Skyrim at level 1 you can pretty reasonably kill a level 10 enemy but in starfeild it's ridiculous. And everything in this game suggests it's slower to level up

That's a pretty good way for me to see I likely won't enjoy Totk.

joe talking about darksouls’s story like it’s a book or a movie really feels like a cinema sins tier take. like if he’s looking for a plot or something in darksouls, that game really doesn’t have one, it barely has a sequence of events lol. the reason the story elements in darksouls are so good is because they’re extremely effective at motivating exploration and engagement with the game and setting a mood. almost all of the popular modern fromsoft titles are very gameplay forward in this way and i think that using the story mainly to bolster, structure, and motivate gameplay is a good game design decision in that regard. i know joe likes arguing and having hot takes, but i thought i’d weigh in because it’s a take that i could see people finding convincing. if you wanna see a straightforward fromsoft story that is decent, i think sekiro is a good example. that being said, this game’s story is pretty garbage.
