What do you do for cleaning and protection after rainy hunting? I'm in Alaska and want to take my new henry lever action hunting but I'm worried about it getting ruined
And then your wife came home🤣 ... or maybe not. Ceramic cooktop cleaner and scrub pads will actually clean your stovetop. Admittedly though, the scrubbing is not nearly as glorious as your project. Cheers!
I’m not fucking subscribe to this shit
Bought like 12 pairs of darn tough socks in the army 7 years later I use them everyday for work they just don’t go bad and the Moreno whoop they are I think that’s the material great insulation in the cold and don’t give you blisters when wet but for some reason not to hot in the summer they’re magic
nice job man 👍
🙏🙂
Nice
Thanks! 🙂🙏
How did your kitchen smell after boiling it? Ive only ever done it outside
It was fine, but this dead head already had the tissue gone. That likely helped a lot.
That’s awesome
I love finding nice spots like this. Going up near lake of the woods in less than a month to scout my spot for rifle season in November.
It’s a good feeling. Good luck this year!!
What state is this?
I have a 270 weatncher father weat
Awesome!
Is that scope off to the left a bit or am i just being a div
Scope is on right! 🙂
@@Northeasthuntermedia I am being a div then 🤣
Found 6 so far in Eastern Ohio including a 135 inch 9 pt set. Most deer are still holding here.
That’s great! Very exciting to find that 9 pointer. Should be a lot on the ground soon
No way you're a tracker. No fricking way.
1 1/2 year old. Let him grow.
Has anyone else been finding sheds yet?
Just moose
@@Haynesvilleguide awesome, always nice to find some. Hope you keep having luck 👍
Here in NY im up to 5 ( but not everything just go cover with 15 inches of snow lol
@@MountainMassOutDoors very nice! Lots of snow here too. Makes things a bit tricky for sure
I found a match set so far nice 8 pointer. One 2 Sundays ago the match last Sunday about 1/2 mile apart same piece of woods In NH.

What scope
Did you get anything
I didn’t get my big Buck this year. My freezer was full with a moose so I was happy to wait for a nice deer.
@@Northeasthuntermedia that’s fine not trying to seem doochie but I got my record amount of points on a deer
That’s awesome, congrats! Did you get it scored? How many points?
@@Northeasthuntermedia it was nine points it had wonky horns though they were close together so it looked like a five point at a distance and it has a shear on the back
Glad to hear it, sounds like you had a great season 👍
Cowardly shit with optics against an unarmed animal👎
Hope you get one
Waiting for a monster?? But you are already there??
We are animals too. Animals hunt animals. Natural order.
Cause it’s the best
Agreed!
It can’t get any better because it’s the best
Agreed!
Deer
Really ?
Hope it Big
I like you Gun
Thanks!
Going out tomorrow here in southeast Kentucky...couple prolonged hard freezes, so we'll see!
Good luck!!
@@Northeasthuntermedia Appreciate it!
Hope it’s a GIANT one
Would be nice!
@@Northeasthuntermedia yup
We have been getting some fresh snow here as well making it hard to find sheds but always good to get out and do some scouting.
It does make it hard. Just had a nice rain and warm weather, so I’m looking forward to getting out on Sunday.
Has anyone been having some luck searching for sheds this early?

How many sheds has everyone found so far?
I’ve only went out twice so far and nothing yet. Planning on just waiting till the end of January and going out a lot more then, I don’t want to get burnt out by going out too much in early season
That makes sense. Best of luck with your shed hunting!
Agora com o comunismo desarmamentista do Lula instalado aqui no Brasil, não poderemos mais obter essas peças . Povo desarmado, povo escravizado . ( S.O.S ) Alexandre de Moraes o novo Hitler
Couldn’t hunt last day im fucking sick 😂
Sorry to hear that, hope you feel better soon!
Love watching shed hunting. I found it better to edit in few videos till you have enough to make a video. Sometimes only takes me a day sometimes 3 different hunt's.
Appreciate the advice! I’m new to making videos. I was starting to think the same thing myself. Been out a few times but haven’t found any fresh sheds yet. Have you found any sheds this year yet?
Must be a newbie !!!! Every season Hunter knows never to set a tree stand by running water.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Not exactly a newbie but not the most experienced either! Always trying to learn more! I was just sitting on the ground there for a couple hours while I was still hunting, but good to know that it wouldn’t be a good spot for a tree stand. Where do you prefer to place your tree stand?
@@Northeasthuntermedia Didn't mean to sound like wiseass !!! Whitetail never usually Stage, Feed,or Bed near running water simple reason they cannot hear or smell a PREDATOR. However they do visit running water roughly every 3 days.
@@Northeasthuntermedia @Northeasthuntermedia dont listen to the richard cranium some of the biggest bucks ive seen came from rivers n bogs as long as theres sign in the area hunt it the deer dont have a calendar on when to visit

Yeaa.... My last day was like that too.Later that night I had tag soup lol
Better luck next season for us both!
I live in the Big Woods of New Hampshire and love shed hunting. Sheds are hard to find but it’s just a great way to get out and enjoy nature and scout for future hunts. I know a few guys who have already found a few sheds this early in the season. We have had little snow this year so it can’t hurt to get out looking. I’m trying to train a new pup to help me find more. Swing by and see how he does. New sub here. I love the woods of eastern Canada, have hunted NB,NS and QC and would love to be able to shed hunt up there.
Glad to hear some people in New Hampshire are having luck! Good luck with the new pup, having a little helper would be fun. Best of luck with your shed hunting!
I’m from the finger lakes find them all the time around the finger lakes lot of animals like the finger lakes come on down sometime come see the finger lakes
@@killintime8431 I grew up in Massena NY. We used to go down to the the Southern Tier to deer hunt just because the numbers of deer were so high. Been shed hunting for 20+ years and half of all the shed’s I’ve found came from NY. Probably logged less than 5 % of the miles in NY than I logged in NH to find the other half. Lots of deer down your way for sure. Not so many in NH.
Good rifle for hunting bro
Thanks!
@@Northeasthuntermedia u'r welcome
Early an often ...if it's to early there's always last season late drops that are out there still too
Yes, going out frequently helps. More time invested always pays off. Good luck with your search!
Looked like a great day to be in the woods. The snow is beautiful. Thank you for taking us along with you! Subbed your channel.🙂
Thanks! We certainly got a lot of snow down over the last few days. Probably not as much as there is in Maine though. Will you be out looking for sheds this year?
Great video, been picking up quite a few here already in Maine
That’s great! Always exciting to find the first ones of the season. Thanks for watching!
Last year here in Alberta my dog found a set from a whitetail Jan 23rd the earliest I'd ever found one here Good luck I'll be watching
That’s awesome, sounds like a good dog! Appreciate it!

Here in Québec i already find 7 shed and two Fresh deadhead between 31 december 2022-5 january 2023they shed very early this season,i see many buck with both shed already drop and just 4 or 5 with one or the two antler still on the head.knowing my spot help a lot,i shed hunt in small piece of land i know the deer are during winter,it’s easier to find them when the spot are small and near they are feeding.good luck for your next walk🙂
That’s awesome! You’ve been having great success. Knowing the area makes a big difference. The area I’ve been in is new to me. When I head to my own hunting property I will hopefully have more luck! Hope you keep having more success!
@@Northeasthuntermedia what state do you shed hunt In
I’m in Nova Scotia, Canada. Where do you shed hunt?
@@Northeasthuntermedia northern Illinois. No luck yet. Are there not alot of bucks in Illinois or am I not looking at the right time or right spots. I'm worried all the bucks were harvested...
I’m not familiar with Illinois, but I’m sure there are lots of bucks around!
Nice! Here is SE Pa I just noticed on trail cam that a few bucks have sheds some antlers
That’s great! When will you typically head out for your first shed hunt?
@@Northeasthuntermedia (this will be my second year shed hunting) I found 6 dead heads 5 sheds, and a broken antler last year) I shed huntedfor about two hours already will low hopes, and I found nothing. I usually check the same areas multiple times once or twice in February and once or twice in March. I usually go earlier so I find the sheds before anyone else. I have about 300 acres to look this year (all of which are farms surrounding my home) last year some bucks by me were shedding as early as Christmas, while others were holding antlers a few days into April.
Sounds like you’ve got a great shed season lined up. Best of luck with it and I hope you fine some big ones!
@@Northeasthuntermedia thanks! You too
What caliber gun
It’s a .257 Weatherby Magnum Mark V. What do you prefer to use for deer hunting?
The monster is the one with a gun.
