How about fixing your state first ...
My state is Idaho haha. I was born and raised in Idaho, but I have lived in other states like CA, WA, and AK. WA just happened to be the last one before moving back to Idaho. Thanks for commenting and watching!
There is no Fixing Washington state. I live here westside. 50years here and leaving here next year to Idaho. I have voted for Reichert but we all know Bob will get the cheat win by a landslide. This state is trash because of politics. I'm done with it and they thems can have it.
Unfortunately you're correct, I don't think there is any hope in fixing Washington State. The people in Washington continue to elect the same leadership that is contributing to its downfall. That is great to hear that you're getting out of that state next year! If you need any help relocating to the Idaho and finding a new home here I'd be happy to assist. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I'm a gardening fanatic and I love Seattle's mild climate. Idaho's extremely hot summers and colder winters are a no-go for me. But the radical leftists that run Washington are sure trying their best to ruin this state.
I don't blame you, Washington is a great state. You're right though, the left is ruining it unfortunately.
The mask mandate hurt your feelings? 😂
I wouldn't say hurt feelings, but I do have a problem Government overreach. Plus, not to mention 99% of masks that were being worn by the general public did not offer them any type of protection.
@rontopp Have you always been a sheep who doesn't question government fear mongering and the resulting destruction of livelihoods?
The hundreds of drug addicts doing the Fenty Fold in Seattle, hurt my child's feelings.
But Ridgefield is thriving!
Good to hear, I always really liked the Ridgefield area.
@@TheRealtorYouKnow They just opened a Costco and are getting an In n Out next year. 😂
@@rontopp Ridgefield is moving on up!
@@rontoppHow are drug addicts?
@@woodjunkjrjr2689 I’d guess not very well. Kind of a dumb ass question to ask….
I was just there and gas was 3.59
You should check out the Costco, much better pricing than anywhere else in the valley. $3.05 today
Be sure and vote Red when escaping the shit shows in Washington ,California and Oregon ! Idaho doesnt want your Blue views, if you have them.
Tell me how you really feel lol. Couldn't agree more though, thanks for watching.
J say it knuckles. Demo marxist run washington. Elected by there legions.
You’re not wrong lol
Vancouver used to be a fantastic city. But like most of Washington it has gone to shit
I agree, it is sad to see what has happened to that state.
@@TheRealtorYouKnow it is. I used to love spending time on the west side
Add Bellingham to the "gone to shit" list.
@@abnerlookatthis it’s unfortunate. Washington had tons of great cities.
Born and raised in Idaho. It sucks here. The jobs suck here. The minimum wage sucks, it’s at $7.25 and it never got better since then. People are actually rude here. It’s been the worst ever. I have always wanted to move to CA because the film and tv industry. But everything is so expensive 😭
I can understand your frustration. It can be tough when the job market isn't what you hoped for, and it's natural to dream about moving to a place with more opportunities. Keep chasing your dreams!
Info From Trucker.... IDHO has the most aggressive Police officers iv encountered in the USA.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s good to know what to expect on the road. Stay safe out there!
Californians are like roaches.
Keep your crap in Cali where you helped creat the garbage you run from and still vote blue. By all means, come to tha har ...
If you want to see a prime example of what happens when Californians move in - look no further than Washington State, especially on the west side.
WA is a perfect example. I lived in Vancouver WA and saw/experienced the change. We ended up moving back to Idaho because of it.
@@TheRealtorYouKnow Washington really has become Two States - like Oregon. But it is increasingly creeping Blue on the conservative east side as well, because of all the migrants that have settled here in the last 20 years. Their kids are now of voting age and - of course - born automatic US citizens. The cities in the region are turning or have turned Blue. Like that county just north of Boise with all the rich Liberal Californians. In the Tri-cities and Yakima, WA. it's the wine crafter crowd. In Spokane, it's the Welfare crowd.
it's amazing how many states californicators have ruined.
It's definitely a topic that sparks a lot of debate! I know for me I don't care where you come from, but don't move somewhere new and then continue to vote the same way that ruined the state you came from. Just my opinion. Thanks for commenting!
Those houses are huge 😮😅
Star loves their big homes and big RV garages for all their toys. Thanks for watching!
Good analysis! I was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, where we had horrible weather during the long winters. I moved to California right after graduation from MSU and it is the best thing I could have done. The financial opportunities here have rewarded me greatly and are still amazing. Summers with their hot weather have stretched to four or even five months, and have become pretty darned uncomfortable. But I never have to drive thru snow and seldom does it rain. Entertainment opportunities and attractions in California are infinite. We love going to Yosemite and the gold-rush areas. We are crowded so I do like to see people moving out of state. If I was moving to Idaho I'd try to get a more forested area than Boise has been blessed with. I do like Wallace. I was in Cour delaine last month and that area has worse traffic than LA. Thanks for your thoughts and information! Nicely done.
Thank you for sharing your journey! It’s always interesting to hear how people adapt to new environments and the opportunities they find. California does have a lot to offer.
A Fred Meyer, Costco would be an excellent addition to Eagle.
Couldn't agree more.
"We are in a Mountain Time zone, which makes our winter days shorter". Um, the time zone has nothing to do with the length of the days. Your winter days are shorter because Boise is far north. The winter days are shorter in the winter in Portland and Seattle, both north of you.
Hey Michael, I get that location has a lot to do with it, but in the video I'm comparing it to people moving from California. I also talk about my personal experience moving from Vancouver WA to Boise and how my wife and I noticed shorter winter days. Yet I'm human and make mistakes and I thought maybe it is just my perception, but when I do a quick google search for daylight hours during the winter months it says Boise Idaho experiences 6.30 hours of daylight, Seattle is at 7.34 hours and Portland is at 6.59 hours.
My Brother in Law in Caldwell, Idaho would say "Good, go the fuck back home."
I visited Boise this July and I found it very different but still much nicer than Los Angeles. At this point anything is better than LA. lol. The only thing that concerned me was the amount of smoke that was persistent in the valley. I’m used to fires and smoke being from SoCal so it’s not that big of a deal to me.
Yeah the smoke has been really bad this year, definitely not our normal though. I help a lot of Californians move to the area and I've heard a few stories about LA. I'll just say I'm not planning my next vacation there lol.
Boise was a great town, BUT, it has changed! The valley has filled in and now Boise has become a concrete jungle. Traffic and all the towns in the valley have grown together making an ugly mess. Unless you can afford downtown in the Capitol district, forget about it and look at other small towns along the western front.
Totally get what you're saying! Boise has changed a lot and now it feels like it's trying to keep up with the big cities. Small towns are definitely where the real charm is these days!
This guy is a complete idiot! California is 10 times better than Idaho. Take it from someone who grew up in Idaho.
Oh people are no longer that friendly. The road rage is getting out of hand guns are being pulled out on the road. I would move out but wife has so much family here we are stuck for now.
The traffic has definitely increased, it will be nice when all the road construction has finished. Should help improve traffic and the road rage. Just curious, if you could move today where would you go?
Idaho sucks very cold in winter. Then, very smoky in the summer and 105 ° many wild fires 🔥
Idaho winters can get cold that's no joke. Last winter was especially rough with a lot of snow.
Awesome video Mike! It's hard to find videos like this that actually take you right into the actual neighborhoods, so well done! Appreciate you taking the time to show the various neighborhoods as well as including the prices. Is there a tour of Star coming anytime soon? ;)
@@islandstylecreations5686 thank you! Glad you liked the video. I actually do have a driving tour of Star coming out next Friday.
Hi was wondering if the farms are conventional? Or orgqnic and pesticide free? Also, how large is the vaccinated community in this area? I have an allergy, so it's important for me to know.Thank you❤
Hi! Idaho does have a variety of different farming methods yet Idaho is a leading state when it comes to organic agriculture. I believe Idaho has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country.
@@TheRealtorYouKnow thanks so much I was concerned about the air near all those fields....
@@danine3679 You're welcome, totally understand. Meridian and Boise might be worth looking at. They have been built up more over the years and so a lot of the agriculture has been pushed out away from those cities more than in places like Nampa or Caldwell.
Stop letting big biz build apartments on our farm lands. More people + less food = 🤔
@@scottharkness6076 I so agree with everything you said. You were much more eloquent than I. All I saw was more people moving and I’m already struggling to pay rent in my home state. I’ve been picking up extra shifts working more than 50 hrs a week and still having trouble. And I make around 45,000 yearly so it’s not like I’m sitting around waiting for handouts. I’m thankful I am still working. I see so many elderly on SS that lost their homes and living in their vehicles down at the parks! This is a disgrace! Our Idaho elderly should not be displaced so others can come and increase our cost of living. I’m angry. It makes me angry every time I see them helpless in the streets. We are talking about first time homeless elderly. Not someone who enjoys being out of a home. Something needs to be don’t. It makes me angry when I see Idahoans profiting off our own people’s tragedy
@cpowell38 I very much appreciate your statements as well. I absolutely feel it also. I am a blue-collar worker, born and raised here in what was the old north end. Went to Boise High. Raising two teenage boys. Always had to work 1+ jobs. But I would have money to hit up a concert, too. Over the last 6 years me and my crew have been priced out of paradise. You said it, we need to look at the Idahoains getting rich on idahoains. We need to look up to the fat cat bureaucrats and get some action. But they live so far removed from our community that they aren't affected. If it doesn't change soon, not good stuff will happen.
@@scottharkness6076 I’m a Capital graduate myself back in 84. Boise has changed so much. Ironically we wished for some change but this is out of control. I agree the ones who can help won’t as they are profiting from this situation and have lost sight of us regular Idahoans
@cpowell38 Also, towards the people put out on the street. Not okay. These aren't druggies that ruined their lives. These are our previous generations that took care of us when we were becoming people. Plus, they took care of their prior generation. But what really gets me riled up is seeing our veterans not getting taken care of. Idaho is not the best, but we do take some care of them. It would help prices of food if we used more Idaho grown meat and crops. Help that by our gov. supporting local ranchers and farmers. Dad would say, "No farms, no food." Sorry so long-winded, but I am passionate about these issues that directly affect our future here. Much love to All.!!!!
@cpowell38 I "stopped attending" Boise, so I am actually Capital grad '99. I absolutely agree that they are profiting off the unsustainable growth. After a bunch more come to the same conclusion, I will see you there, Powell.
That’s because all these people you are advertising to are bringing their out is state income living on our income. Meaning us Idahoans can no longer afford our own city. Its wrong and you are contributing to this
@@cpowell38 I’m an Idahoan born and raised here, I too have seen the cost of living in general go up. However, this is not unique to Idaho this has happened throughout the country unfortunately. People moving to Idaho are looking for a better way of life, a place with conservative values and they want to be around other like minded individuals. I don’t see helping people find that as wrong. I feel blessed that the values of my home state attracts so many great people. I think it says a lot about us as Idahoans and our state. I appreciate you taking the time to comment 😁
@@TheRealtorYouKnow I’m glad you’re steering them outside of Boise. We would like to remain blue and have people with similar values around us as well. Not everyone in Idaho is conservative and a lot of people seem to be misled about that.
I’m just trying to inform people so that way anyone moving here can end up in a location that best fits them. I agree, there is a misconception that Idaho is red through and through and that’s just not the reality. Idaho is a great place to live in general and I’m enjoying sharing that with others.
@cpowell38 People need to check their thoughts process if they move from a bad place to a city that is better, then try to change the system of the new city to be more like the place they left(that wasn't good). I don't care if they are blue or red, but if you come here, get on board with what is making this state great. Plus, stop inviting their good for nothing nephews.
It's an interesting concept that the majority of blue voters live in the city's that are maintained be the farmers, ranchers, and others that do jobs needed, who are majority red voters. If they stop working anarchy and chaos would ensue in cities, if we in the city stopped working paperwork wouldn't be filed, and who would move around digital numbers...
All the best
We are waiting and building a war chest for 2025 2026. We are already seeing investment firms that bought for rentals in our area selling their whole portfolio. At the same time home prices are dropping in the areas where we are moving. Should be interesting what we can get by then.
Sounds like you have a solid strategy in place for the future, I wish you the best of luck!
@@TheRealtorYouKnow Thank you and thank you for your content.
$500k for 3 bedrooms 😂 could get an 8 bdr with that money, with a 9-hole in the backyard in South Africa
Wish prices were that reasonable here, unfortunately they are on the rise. Thanks for watching!
When the banks and the government. Caused the housing crisis in 2009, 10, I had my owned home on market to downsize and had just lost my old age savings due to Obama and my 1 mill. $ home was sold at 479,000. A big loss that I have never recovered from. This house is beautiful, but again, the wrong time now to sell or buy. Boomers are selling and millenials don't care about owning property. It used to be a home was your big nest egg and now it's a cracked egg.
My house has 3 beds, 2.5 baths and is less than a third of that price... well, it was... right before the pandemic.
Pre pandemic was a great time to buy, some of my clients have seen their home values more than double since then.
These new constructions are shitty. I watched them being made. The crews are migrant labor that hate Americans.
You need more gray, no color at all paint everything gray. Gray wood gray walls, gray doors, gray countertops, gray everything.
