You should have used some peelply and vacuum bag mate. Laminating Carbon fibre and epoxy's not the same as polyester resin and fiberglass.

What is the location you are surfing? What is the air and water temp? Board and sail size? Em i asking too much? Lol

TBH, for the price range this board cannot be faulted imo. Stable easy to gybe, used it with sail range from 5 to 7.5, I weigh 90 - 95. Used it to float and ride and in manic conditions. Still got mine, happy to use it anytime brings lots of joy. Great progression board🤙

Brilliant vid. Some of those forward attempts looked like you were getting pretty far around. As for the ducks, I'd say you need to duck the sail earlier, it looks like you are carving quite a long way before you attempt to duck. I think you need to bear away a bit , duck , then carve. Looked like a really fun session.

The sail pumping worked a treat. On the gybing , (caveat Im not claiming to be the expert , see ollie for that) . youre best one was 3.25 staying clew first kept the board moving and stopped the tail sinking. Only thing missing on that was sliding your hand to the mast before the rig flip would have been a banger.

I think they say to apply the resin in late afternoon, so the outside air temperature is gradually decreasing, which keeps the bubbles from happening.

Just preparing myself for the big stuff🤞, so want to nail one this season🤙

Looks like tough conditions to learn the forward loop. Mostly on shore and no meaningful ramps!
