I dont think the quick attachment would last long in real life use TBH. If sand or water gets into the motor and moving parts, it would be all over for it. That wire sticking out of the side could be damaged too and/or get ripped off during digging a trench etc. The one thing that I reckon nobody thinks about is the difference in leverage with it on. It is putting the bucket a bit further away from the arm so the machine will have to work a bit harder to dig. If you have a good strong machine like the 1580, this might not be an issue but I reckon it might be a bit hard on something like a 1592 that does not have the servos like the 1580 has. I could be wrong here but its just my thought on it and why I decided against getting one myself. I definitely agree that the welding is poor quality on the yellow bucket. I even noticed it before you said it on the video. Same with the ripper. They still should hold up to normal use though. Probably wont even be as obvious when they get dirty from use lol.
Agreed across the board, And the Quick disconnect is worthless too, it gets sand in the threads, and then doesn't want to open "and at that point, it's almost a permanent item,😂 You're much better off without the quick disconnect.😁 As far as everything else; The crappy welds are holding up well.😁 Thanks for your Awesome comments, and many more thanks for checking out the video my friend.😊👍
👍📹📹
😊🙏
May never
That's. True about f m s the bells and whistles I'm not sure I aint wanna buy that stuff anymore.👍💰💰🫡🚗🚗✔️
Right... And did you see the date on that video, "that was filmed before we had any conversations about FMS.😂 I certainly like the looks of all the FMS vehicles, but I don't trust the quality. In my opinion they should be classified as a "shelf model that can occasionally be lightly driven" more than an actual RC crawler "which are also considered models" 😕 Their all considered models really... But most of the other brands are meant for more day to day usage.😕 It's kinda a shame really... I really want to like FMS & Roc Hobby, and I love the way all of their RC's look "including their RC airplanes" But when it comes to purchasing a new RC Crawler! FMS & Roc Hobby, wouldn't be my first choice.😕 (I feel like I'm tip toeing through a minefield here) I really want to like FMS & Roc Hobby, it's just a shame that they use cheaper components on their RC's.🤔 If they stepped it up to a thicker steel frame, with hardened steel drive train components, and quality servo's & electronics,as well as sealed ball bearings throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them.😁 But until then I'm just going to consider them as a scale model that you can gently drive around once and awhile.😕 It's the same way with my FMS/Roc Hobby 1/6 scale MB Scaler Willy's Jeep... I absolutely love that Willy's Jeep, but it's clearly not meant for everyday usage,😕 and I think that as long as you treat it for the vehicle it was meant to be "which is a scale model of a old military jeep" and not a competition crawler, that a person wouldn't be disappointed with it.😕 "In other words" if you don't drive it like I drive mine, the jeep should last for awhile.😂 Lol But still...🤔 They definitely could have done better with the jeep too,😕 "it's lacking quiet ah bit! 🤔 It needs a thicker steel frame, more flexible body plastic, hardened steel drive train components, sealed ball bearings throughout, and a full set of led lights "including tail lights" 😕 I mean "I really love that Willy's Jeep! But FMS & Roc Hobby could have done better.😕 But once again... If you treat that Jeep as FMS & Roc Hobby designed it for, then a person wouldn't be disappointed with it.😕😊
Nice. Video buddy. What was that Someone walking around. weird.
Thanks for the compliments Kevin..😁🙏 As far as hearing footsteps in the woods; we never found out what it was, I was too busy trying to concentrate on filming, and my brother Ian said that he didn't see anything. So I'm not sure what it was,😕 could have been a squirrel for all I knew.😂 Lol but I will say this as a definite... There's a ton of orbs flying around in every single one of these "on the Rock's" videos,🤔 (hand to God) I've seen tons of orbs in every single one of those videos,😕 "you can clearly see a few bugs flying around too" But there's a huge difference between an orb in flight vs a bug, Bugs are dark colored and buzz around like an annoying fly, And the orbs are self eliminated & are either white, or purple, or a blueish color, and seem to fly on a more direct route,🤔 and I also witnessed a few flying right through some of these small boulders and keep on trucking like the boulder was never there.😕 Tons of orbs dude! This entire video series has been jam packed with orbs.🤔😕 It really is a Haunted RC Adventure Park, "which has nothing to do with Halloween being around the corner" my RC Adventure Park is haunted all year around. 😂 Ha ha ha lol "True Story" 😕😄😊 Thanks again for your compliments brother, and many more for checking out the video.😊🤜🤛
W0W
I was doing some amateur astronomy.on a Dark lonely gravel road at night and I had a feeling something really tall was walking behind me. Just gave me the real creeps like crazy.. Like what the hell? The night of the 14th of octuber.14 2024wow
I was hoping that you were all done with all that stuff because I I have not seen the orbs for many videos
@kevinbreaker2683 Well it's really not up to me "to be done with the orbs" since I'm not in control of them, And after seeing so many of them for so many years, it's almost impossible not to see them anymore.😄 Lol But what I have stopped doing "was not to put any more focus on them during the videos" meaning that I'm not going to interrupt the video "in order to point out orb activity.😕 But their there if you look "there's absolutely no doubt about that.
great video rc
😁🙏 Much appreciated Claudio.
Wow. It’s been a minute since I’ve been on here. Forgot just how much I missed watching these videos!! Glad to see your channel is still going strong and I look forward to watching many more of your videos. I just purchased the scx24 gladiator. Waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I’m super excited I’ve heard great things about these little crawlers. I hope all of what I hear is true!!
Hey.... What's up there Sarah 😊🖐️ how you been....? Hopefully all is well...😁 Scx24 Gladiator; I don't have one, so I can't say anything good or bad about it, 🤔 But I will say this... We haven't had the best long term luck with our Scx24's, my brother's deadbolt has been a problem child since he got it, we've had to replace all the electronics including the motor on his, and my scx24 jeep suddenly quit working last winter about 2 minutes into a video,🤔 nothing works on mine! 🙄 Esc, Motor, Steering Servo, "it all quit working.😕 So yeah.... not sure how I feel about the Scx24's at the moment.😂 But I truly wish you all the best with yours "your's is a newer addition" so hopefully Axial got there stuff squared away on the newer versions.😄 Lol I sincerely wish you all the best with your Gladiator Sarah, and thanks for stopping by to say hi.😊🖐️
@@R.C.A.D. so I received my scx24 yesterday. I was so excited to try it out!! About halfway through the first battery run I lost severe power in reverse. Forward still does fine and steering still does fine. Reverse works but when I say it barely moves I mean it barely moves. Giving I ordered it online I hate dealing with returns and shipping and all that. It seems to be a fun little machine to just run around and enjoy with the kids. So with that being said I’d prefer to just fix it myself if I could determine exactly what my problem is as I could probably buy the parts cheaper than I could pay shipping to return it. Anyway. Have you all had any issues like this with your alls scx24’s. Like I said. Forward and steering works great. Just super slow in reverse!! Any bit of knowledge would be a great help!! Also you got any spare parts laying around for them you would part with? As always. Thanks in advance for any info you provide as I trust your opinion and knowledge!!
@sarahbowen9686 Yikes...😕 Yeah...🤔 I'm not sure what's going on with your truck, My first thought is wondering if you're battery was fully charged, and then my second thought, is wondering if it's got something to do with the Transmitter's speed selector switch "which is a 3 position sliding switch" labeled L M H (low medium high) that limits how much power is going to the wheels, And it should be sitting in the H position for full power.😕 First thing I would do is check all your batteries, The next thing would be to check the 3 position speed selector switch on the transmitter. And if it's not either one of those things, then it's probably got something to do with the ESC (electronic speed control) which is a ESC and Receiver combination. If that's the situation, then you can simply order a new one and bind it up to your vehicles transmitter. (there should be instructions in your manual on binding the Transmitter to the Receiver) Lastly there's one more thing you can check "but I'm pretty sure it's not going to apply with the Scx24's transmitter" but some transmitter have a manual throttle position switch, that's located on the transmitter close to the trigger "If you're transmitter has one of those" then it might be sitting in the wrong position, "which would definitely limit the reverse function" by not letting the trigger move all the way back into the reverse position,🤔😕 But I'm pretty certain that your Transmitter doesn't have one "my transmitter doesn't have one" so unless they recently changed something, it stands to reason that your's doesn't have one either.😕 But 10 chances to one your problem probably has something to do with the ESC.😕 I'll put a link into this message for a new ESC 👇 www.avantlink.com/click.php?tool_type=cl&merchant_id=4b85b2b7-558e-4304-89fc-54958c8f47f0&website_id=0b07db92-510e-4523-bb4f-6caab546340a&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amainhobbies.com%2Faxial-ae6-esc-rx-combo-axi31620%2Fp977314 One last thing that you can check... Is to look in the manual and see if you can reset the ESC, which would be resetting the forward and reverse movement on the transmitter, as well as full left, and full right on the transmitter. Someone from the factory might not have set it up right from the beginning.😕 And if that's the situation then you can simply reset it, vs having to purchase a new ESC.😊
@@R.C.A.D. thanks for the input! Not sure what’s up with it but I turned it on today and it worked fine in all directions. lol. I didn’t do anything on my end so it had appeared to have fixed itself for the moment. I did however break a rear shock though. That was my fault and stupidity though. Nothing to do with the truck itself so looks like I’m going to have to buy me a new set of shocks. Anyway you said you scx24 wasn’t currently running? Just sell it to me as a fixer upper lol. I think it would be a fun little project I’d like to take on.
@sarahbowen9686 Hey.... Glad to hear your gladiator is alright 😄 bummer about the shock though.😵 As for my Scx 24 jeep; I was working on it yesterday and it just needs a new motor "which is a pretty common problem with them" the stock motors are well known for not lasting very long. Fortunately though there's a ton of aftermarket upgrade motors for it online "and there all larger than the stock motor, which means that they have more power and low end torque vs the stock motor. The only problem is that it's not a direct swap,🤔 "it's definitely not a difficult swap" but it's not as cut & dry as a direct swap, because you need to purchase a new motor plate to adapt it to the scx 24's transmission "which isn't the end of the world or anything" it's just something to be aware of when you're shopping for a replacement motor.😕 There's also a few brushless conversations available as well, but those all require a brushless compatible transmission to go along with them "which are available and sold on the same Amain hobbies page as the brushless motors, some are even a complete combination of Motor, Transmission,& ESC, But you can expect to pay anywhere from $50.00 to $150.00+ for one of those setups. Most of the brushed motor replacements can be purchased for less than $30.00 including shipping and handling.😁 As far as my scx24 Jeep being for sale; not a chance! 😄 But I would be willing to trade it for your vintage Dodge Charger RT that you keep in the garage. 😄 Ha ha ha lol Side note; I'm currently in a partnership program with Amain hobbies and Avantlink, so if you ever need to purchase any parts for your scx24, or if you're looking to get a new RC, let me know and I'll send you a link to whatever you're looking at, and then I'll get a small sales commission from whatever you decide to purchase "with absolutely no extra cost to you" Amain hobbies would simply be giving me a small commission for bringing them a new customer, and it won't cost you anything extra, but it will go a long way towards helping my channel out.😊👍
Nice video 👍
Thanks Kevin 😁🤜🤛
Another good video. If I’m allowed to make suggestions. You should put some markers up like 11 inches apart and then drive through the markers this way both trucks follow exactly the same trail. And also, if one truck can make it through the markers and another truck cannot it would give me a better comparison.!!!😅 I enjoy watching that TRX 6 working through the rocks
Thanks Dan... 😊👍 Marker suggestion; Heck yeah... I've been wanting to do something like that for awhile "just need to get some stick's and twine, and start stringing it all out.😁 Probably won't see that for a few videos ☝️ since the next few videos were already previously recorded..😄 Thanks for great suggestions Dan and for taking the time to check out the show.😁👍🤜🤛
@@R.C.A.D. maybe some guy you know with 3-D printer might be already printing them😎

Definitely a Danchee course for sure👍
😄 if only I had one... But until then I'm gonna throw everything else that we have at it instead.😂 Thanks for the wise words brother....😊👍🤜🤛
Gen 8 has a ton of articulation. That TRX6 is surprisingly smooth. Awesome video👍🏾🔥
Gen 8 is something else, I'm going to drop the pinion gear down a couple of teeth "because it seems like it needs a bit more off the line spool up power" and then take it back out against one of our Long Travel Trx4's "with the same kind of tires" and see how it stacks up.😁 Trx6; did a lot better than I thought 😄 "as for the smoothness" it's still got low mileage on it.😂 Lol Many thanks for your kindness, and for checking out the show.😊👍👉🏆

Thanks Kelly 😁👍🤜🤛
Good video. I'm just ,PO I shouldn't be Is moaning and groaning on your You're channel my apologies I just don't think trial finder 2 should break like that
You're alright Kevin... And you have good reason to be upset, There is absolutely no reason you're TF2 should have broken like that,🤔 like I said in the previous message "quality control" just isn't what it used to be, and I think that someone didn't shim the Rear Ring & Pinion correctly, and then it stripped out because it wasn't making perfect contact with the ring gear. It's definitely a bummer 😔 The only good news "is that rc4wd makes heavy duty replacement parts for it, I know...I know! You shouldn't be having to buy anything for it yet, But at least when you rebuild it you'll know that it's done right.😉👍 And if it's any consolation I'm kinda in the same boat... My Tf2 axles have been needing a rebuild for a long time, I've been wanting to get the H.D. parts for it since about 2017, but I just haven't had the extra money for it,😕 usually I'm trying to save my money for complete vehicles that way the channel can progress, and I have a difficult time convincing myself to spend $100.00 on parts when I could save another couple of hundred bucks and put it towards a brand new vehicle instead, "since new vehicles get more views than old ones" But I really do need to get the heavy duty axle parts for it, I've been pushing my luck with the stock internals for far too long.😕
The truck is not that old.So I bought that back in march,,,,🚗🚗🚚
Yeah that's still pretty new no doubt about it 😕 quality control just isn't what it used to be.😞
🤨😵💫😵💫😵💫

@kevinbreaker2683 Are you sure...? Because you're emoji on that last message ☝️ appears to be giving me the raised eyebrow like a angry parent or something. 😄 Lol
@R.C.A.D. I'm upset with r c 4 wheel drive
@kevinbreaker2683 Oh... 😄 Now I get it... I'm an idiot sometimes. Lol 😂
Actually if I stripped the Bevel gear gear
"When speaking to text" a person needs to review what they have said before hitting the send button. I type everything out manually "letter for letter and word for word" and it sucks... Sometimes it takes me hours just to type out a single reply,🙄 But that's how I do it.. manually typed in "and then reviewed before it gets sent.😕 But I got ya... You didn't actually break an Axle, but you did strip out the Pinion gear "for the Rear Axles Ring & Pinion. Is that a correct assumption ? 😕 I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but you are able to go back and edit a message after you left it. When your looking at a sent message, and when you look down at the bottom of the message "you will see a Thumbs up on the lower left corner, and then a thumbs down directly to the right of the thumbs up, and then a what looks like a message board or a piece of paper to the right of the thumbs down, and then to the right of that is a Heart ❤️ symbol, and then finally "all the way over in the bottom right corner" there is Three black dots stacked on top of each other "and if you click on that" it will let you go back and edit any mistakes on your previous message.😄👍 not trying to make fun of you bro, just trying to help you out my friend.😊👍 You are after all "my number 1 subscriber 😊❤️ And I can't thank you enough for all of your channel support, Your number one brother #1 🥇🏆
What way to say Rear Axel shot broken no good
@kevinbreaker2683 Sorry for the late response Kevin, I was tied up with helping replace a power steering pump on a 01 Jeep Cherokee.😕 Anyways.. You did a great job explaining the axle situation with your last message 😄 But it's not like the axle is actually broken 😕 I mean it's broken in the sense that it doesn't work "yes" but the axle housing itself is still in one piece correct ? And the remaining parts on the inside of the axle can still be repaired, So it's not exactly a complete loss right ? (My tf2's front axle is broken on the outside, and not on the inside) but luckily I have another axle housing that I can use to get it back up and running. And the other axle that I'm using as a "replacement housing" was broken on the inside from a previous incident,🤔 but I haven't taken that one apart to see what the problem was, "I know it's somewhat serious, and I'm pretty sure it's a broken axle shaft,🤔 But I can't say for sure until I start swapping stuff around on them.🤔 And then there's the boom racing axles that I had for the tf2🙄 Those were supposed to be Heavy Duty, and meant for the extra stress of running 2.2 tires,🙄 And I ended up snapping the right front steering knuckle, right off of the housing on that one too. So much for being tuff 😂 lol As far as the pinion gear on the axle; Yes sir I've stripped out one of those as well 😄 but that was on the Rc4wd "middle rear axle" that I had on my Wltoys 10428a hydroplane truck "I had a boat propeller mounted on the rear output of the axle"😄lol anyways... It couldn't handle the brushless power of the VXL brushless combo, and I stripped that thing out like it was made from butter.😂 I definitely know what you're going through man, The stock Rc4wd axle shafts and Ring & Pinion gears aren't very strong,🤔 There fine for the stock tires and they'll hold up to 1.9's for awhile, but they definitely can't handle 2.2's or any kind of "heavy driving stress" from trail conditions.😕 I hear that the Heavy Duty axle shafts, and helical cut Ring/Pinion gear set, is worth the extra money,😕 but I haven't gotten around to trying them yet 😞 my budget "being what it is" I haven't had any reserve money that I can put towards them.🥺 Broken parts happen in this hobby, sometimes it's from weak or faulty parts, and other times it's from driver error,😕 but at the end of the day it's all a learning experience, "the important thing is to make it a fun learning experience" 😄
You're speaking to. The official axle snapper. I snapped the axle in my trail finder 2 scottsdale rear Dam Dude,Gee WizDam#$%%^@**
Ha ha ha lol you got me rolling over here.😂 It's kinda funny that you said that "considering that your the guy who actively avoids situations that might put a scratch on the vehicle" 😂 Lol You avoid situations that might give the vehicle a scratch, but you're extra abusive towards the drivetrain,🤣 Your unbalanced a little bit brother! (Not referring to a mental unbalancing) But rather the balance between "body damage and drivetrain damage" You're RC balance is waaaaay off Mr Axle Be`ah Snapper'ing 😄 lol Apparently when it comes to "holding & folding" you have a tendency of holding for far too long.😂 I used to have that problem with vehicles when I was younger, but after years of trial, and errors, and breaking a ton of RC "and full size vehicle parts in between" I finally figured out when to fold them "before things actually start to break"😂 ha lol I just can't stop thinking about that... "how you are afraid to scratch your vehicles, but not afraid to break an axle" Ha ha ha lol 😂 Speaking of being "overly safety conscious" Did you know that back in the day "when I used to own a Harley Davidson motorcycle" That Nebraska was the only state out of the 50 states "that I had to wear a motorcycle helmet while riding through ? 😕
I did not roll it over.I hit the neighbor's rock edgeing And something in the truck didn't like it came home broken
@kevinbreaker2683 😦 What... That's ridiculous what a pos... You know now that you said that "and knowing that you stripped the pinion on the rear differential" my guess is that someone didn't shim that axle correctly from the factory,🤔 and maybe those two gears were never really making good contact from the beginning, and once you hit that piece of edging, it was enough to cause it stall out briefly and strip out the pinion.😕 Or at least that's my guess
👍🚗🚚🚚🚚👋🚜👏👏

I’m to the part where you just made the comment that you’ve had the twin hammer since 2016 and haven’t broke a part that’s way better built than the WL toys. Or at least the way my grandson drives his but actually he hasn’t broke a lot of parts. Mostly ripped screws out of plastic burned up two motors and one rear driveshaft.
😄 Yes sir the Twin Hammers is a pretty solid crawler. As far as Wltoys is concerned;🤔 I've definitely got mixed feelings about them, 😕 but their definitely better than most of the "off the rack" cheap toy grade RC's, and they make great entry level vehicles as well. As far as quality goes; They have different levels of that 😄 and the "10428 class" is probably their toughest, and the quality steps down from there, and "kinda" goes hand in hand with the asking price "as you step down in the different class models.😕 But that goes without saying with all toy grade RC Companies!😂 I like Wltoys, and other similar RC Companies like that "as great intro RC's" and if you still like the hobby after that vehicle eventually breaks beyond repair, Then step it up, and move on to a Hobby Grade vehicle from there.😊 Stripped out screw holes; Wltoys uses fine thread screws, which makes it easy to repair with a course thread screw "or even a short drywall screw if need be"😂 lol Wltoys chassis plastic is crazy flexible "which makes it great for high speed tumbles" but not so good for holding screws.😄
@@R.C.A.D. it’s been a great first RC basher for a seven year-old.. In two years he has driven the car. It has been repaired with longer screws. Then course thread screws. Even little screws with nuts. But! Like you said it’s plastic is super pliable, which is resulted in no broken plastic bits. Just drivelines stuff we have plans to get her repaired and back on the road again. Because that thing brings smiles to now a nine-year-old face.
@danweiss1371 Nice... Smiles are what it's all about, and your a good grand dad for helping to keep that smile going.😁👍
@@R.C.A.D. hell yes Brother!! It’s the only thing 😜🤣🤓
I have the old WLTOYS 1/10 A333 "Warrior Wild Truck" twin hammers clone that is modified a fair amount, I wonder how well it'd do on this course! good video of them
Hey what's up Brother long time no see.😁🖐️ As far as your Wltoys A333; I'd imagine that it would probably rank right up there with these two.😄👍 But really there's only one real way to find out, and that's if you brought your Wltoys A333 over here for a comparison "which you're more than welcome to do" 😄👍 Hopefully all is well with you and your family Michael and many thanks for checking out the show.😊🤜🤛
I would have thought they both would have performed better. Looks like you would need something like a Redcat Danchee or an Axial Capra to truly dominate that pile of rocks. Either way Thumbs Up!
They actually didn't do too bad really.😄 Neither one made it in through the entrance, but otherwise they made pretty quick work of the rest of it, I think pound for pound "that these two buggies, made it through faster than all the rest, "Video times don't lie" 😄 Not too bad for a couple of low riders that dragged their bellies all the way through. They made it... And with no broken parts too boot.😁 Lol We still have a few more videos to go before we conclude our fun on the Rock pile, but so far "even though you haven't seen it yet" the Custom RedCat Gen 8 is the undisputed champion.😁 As far as this run though.... The Customized Wltoys 10428 was the winner 🏆 And I have mixed feelings about that 🤔 the Wltoys is 95% Twin Hammers, but if it wasn't for it's "Wltoys extra front suspension travel" it would be tied with the Vaterra Twin Hammers,🤔 And if it wasn't for all the Wltoys internal Vaterra drive train parts, it would have been broken about half way through.🤔😕 So I mean really.... Who's the real champion out of the two buggies ? 😂 Lol Thanks for your kind comment Doug, and my sincerest gratitude for checking out the show. 😊👍🤜🤛
No thanks needed bro. I watch them all 100% commercials and all. And it’s turning into an awesome series. But as you know Pure rock crawling is not my thing. Im more of a scale trail kinda guy. Love the play by play though. It’s what sets you apart from just the visual channels brother👍
One it’s amazing it made it through there. Two I’m happy nothing broke. It’s not that well built. Or should I say it’s not made for that type of rock crawling. But it was entertaining.
😄 ha lol That's what I kept saying to myself as well as out loud in the video "This Truck isn't made for this kinda stuff" 😂 but it did it... Nothing. Out of the ordinary.I was just trailing and I looked down.I had 3 wheel drive snap oboy
You win. Mine has no scratches. Lol. Yours is looking good though. The scratches actually look good on it. Nice run👍
😄 ha ha ha lol to the winning. As far as the scratches go; I was thinking the same thing😄 "those are all battle scars, and the jeep was looking good with a few battle wounds.😁 My next thought was the tires 🤔 "the tires are looking pretty good with all the trail wear on them, And it's got me thinking that I need to put the Jeeps spare tire into rotation "that way it matches the rest of the tires" and doesn't look so shiny and new.😊 I know that the jeep wasn't made for this kinda stuff, but it sure was fun trying to make it through everything, and watching the driver turn the steering wheel throughout the adventure "was a pretty cool aspect too.😊 Thanks for the battle scar compliments Doug 😄 and I hope you enjoyed the show bro.😊👍
What length drive shafts … front & rear are you running with that much height???

😄👍 Good call Trevor
Myself I like 3s more low pulling power far As I'm concerned. I get slow crawl. I got the horses I mean. I got it all so. Oh , it's not the two s is more Not much punch
True "but the amount of punch a battery has, also comes down to what the batteries C rating is 🤔 (50c has a lot more punch than 25c) no matter the overall voltage.😕 And technically speaking 3s most definitely has more power than 2s, since 3s is 12.6v fully charged and 2s is only 8.4v fully charged.😕 What I was trying to say is that sometimes when the vehicle is under a strong load due to terrain, that it seems like the vehicles motor behaves better on a 50c 2s lipo vs a 50c 3s lipo. I know that it makes absolutely no sense at all, but sometimes it just feels like that when I'm pushing a RC vehicle thru serious terrain "that causes extreme loads on the drivetrain and motor" that the motor seems to prefer a 50c 2s over a 50c 3s.😕 I just wondered if anyone else ever felt the same way.😄
I'd love to come to your place and challenge you be awesome
And you're more than welcome to too 😁👍 but I wouldn't really think of it as a challenge really, I'd rather think of it has having fun with a fellow RC friend while playing a little "follow the leader" with the RC crawler's.😁 You are 100% percent invited Kevin, I "as a RC channel and friend" and we as a family, would welcome you anytime.😊🤜🤛
The Vetera, are set up as a Basher vehicle.that's why they just put a body,,,
Kevin your the number one subscriber of all time on my channel, but I strongly disagree about Vaterra setting up the Ascenders as a basher. 😕 Fact of the matter "is that Vaterra Ascenders, were one of the best rtr crawlers that you could get in their day, and are still considered one of the best today. "At least for the average crawler enthusiast" no it's not a purpose built competition crawler like a high end vanquish competition crawler chassis, but for what they are, I'd be willing to put a Stock Ascender up against any other straight axle rtr crawler that is available today.😁 Ascenders are awesome... And they were built out of great materials "meaning a very strong drivetrain" but they were most definitely not built as a basher,😕 they were built as a quality crawler, that wasn't going to break the bank of the average RC enthusiast.😁
I got a new trail finder 2 Scottsdale. And I haven't turned that thing over once. Yet knock on wood on that deal. You got that shiny painti , just don't want to scratch it
Scratches happen.... It's wise to avoid as many scratches as you can "but sometimes they're unavoidable, and have to happen "in order for the show to go on" without the use of a Hand of God "to reposition the vehicle.😊
I don't like scratching my stuff. Anytime Back when I was a kid I didn't like getting my bicycles.sratch I like the guy who worked at hobby town. That's why you buy RC s to break them. He goes. He's obviously a Wack job That's what they're for. I just told him I don't break my R c's. On purpose, some people like that though. nice video It was the ford ascender f150 Or something for500 bucks.
Ha ha ha so you're that guy, "the one who is just on the edge of really having some fun" 😄 (like I said in the video) if you're afraid to scratch it, you're not really doing yourself any favors "when it comes to improving your driving skills" 😕 I'm not the type of person who deliberately tries to break their RC's, but you can't be afraid to put a few scratches on it. A vehicle with no scratches, is a vehicle that's not really getting used. Correct ? 😕 I mean "isn't that what you think when you see someone else's shelf queen collecting dust ? 😕 Like how much it's a shame "that their vehicle isn't getting used ? 😕 I'm not telling people to go out and break their RC's, but if you get yourself into a difficult spot with your RC, and you pick it up and move it by hand vs trying to drive it out of that situation, "then your not really doing your driving skills any favors. 😕 Yes there is definitely a bunch of good reasons to pick up your vehicle and move it "for certain situations" like if it's about to fall off a cliff or something, but if you're picking up your vehicle and moving it to a different position "to avoid getting a scratch on it" then your not really having fun with it. I mean what would you do in a real world situation, if you had to drive through an area that was going to scratch your vehicle, in order to save your own life or somebody else's ? 😕 Would you be willing to scratch your vehicle for that, or would you tuck tail and turn around ? 😕 Bicycle's; I was never the type of kid who pulled up to something, and would just drop my bike to the ground, I always set my bike down nicely with the crank being high on the downside, but I was never afraid to jump, bunny hop, sidekick garbage cans, ride wheelies or do anything else that way going to jeopardize that days fun.😄 "Scratches happen" and everyone of them have a story to tell "just like scrapes and scars on a person's body" there all battle scars with a story to tell "doesn't matter if it's a vehicle or a person, all those scrapes and scratches have a story behind them.😁 "In all reality" those scrapes and scratches are all badges of honor, and a person or RC vehicle "should be proud to have them.😊 Scratches that happen in the line of duty "are all well earned battle scars, "and true badges of honor.🏅 Or at least "that's how I feel about it" 😕😄😊 I love every RC on my channel, and I'm extremely proud of them all too, they have all served me well, and are all heroes in my eyes.😊 There is definitely a difference between "not being afraid to scratch your vehicle in the line of duty" and being abusive towards them or "deliberately trying to break them.😕 My RC's are Heroes! 😍 But then again I'm also the type of person who would sacrifice themselves "in order to save another person too.😕 Sometimes sacrifices have to be made, the question is "how willing are you to do the same ? If you were a soldier in battle "would you willingly sacrifice yourself to save a fellow soldier, or would you be the type of person who turned their head and walked away.😕 I know that it seems like a big difference between "being afraid to scratch a RC, and "sacrificing one's self to save another, but ultimately at the end of the day "it all boils down to what type of person you are" 😕 I'm not going to play in traffic, but if I have to jump in front of a vehicle to save someone's life "I would. I'm not going to play with fire, but if I have to jump through burning flames to save someone's life "I would. See what I'm trying to say ? I don't want to deliberately scratch My RC's "but I'm also not afraid to scratch them "if duty calls for it"😊 But that's just me...😄 Lol

Agreed...😊 I really dig this truck, "I think that Vattera could have picked a better color for the bronco, and it probably would have gotten more overall sales, but otherwise...it's a good overall scale size, and it's definitely a fun truck to drive.😁 Back to the vehicles color for a second; I don't care for the color, but... It does look a lot better after I tuned it up with the extra white painted items, and whatnot. 😊 I'd say that it's one of my favorite RC's "but that wouldn't be fair for the rest of them, I love them all equally really, and this one is ranked right up there with the rest.😊 It's a fun truck! Thanks for the awesome compliment brother, and my appreciation for checking out the show.😁🤜🤛

you diligently recked a perfectly good plane by not following the flight rules shame on you !!!
😂 ha ha ha lol "did I ? And here I thought that I was a beginner pilot "with limited areas to fly" who was trying to fly his RC plane for the very first time.🥺
just found the channel and thanks for talking through the video instead of music
My pleasure 😄 99% of my videos are like this "crawler movies with no music" 😁 Thanks for the great compliment and for taking the time to check out the channel.😊👍
great video bro new sub
Much Appreciated and Much Appreciated 😄👉🏆
Nice video buddy 👍 🛻🛻🛻🚚
Much appreciated Kevin 😁🙏 and thanks for taking the time to check it out. 😊🤜🤛
Yeah, that axial bronco had bad weight placement from the factory. Definitely would be happier with either some heavy rims or brass hubs, and battery replacement to the front but the body is quite heavy on that truck. But it looks good. It’s a Ford.😂
She is a little portly "yes, and her weight is a bit all over the place, But I still love her.😄 Ha ha ha lol I think if I can get the battery moved to the center of the chassis, and put some 6-8 mm brass wheel hex spacers, along with heavier wheels "which I have in 1.9" but after watching the video I think that it might be better served with a small set of 2.2's "like the Rc4wd Mud Slinger's" and lowering the pinion gear by a couple of teeth.😁 I know that it wasn't a very popular truck Axial, but that era Bronco is one of my favorites, and I can't help but to love it "it looks cool crawling through the rocky wasteland" 😊 As far as the video goes through... The Axial Wraith did much better than the Scx10 III Bronco,😕 But the most important part is "that everyone had fun.😆😊👍 And it was also a good learning experience with the Bronco as well, hopefully with some proper weight location, and some of the other above mentioned upgrades, she might be a better crawler the next time around.😊 Thanks for the great suggestions and for checking out the video my friend.😁👍🤜🤛
Microphone sounds good on this end.👍
That's good to know 😊 How did the picture look ? Did it appear to be well lit ? Otherwise much appreciated for the feedback brother.😊👍
Looked crisp, clear and in focus on the big screen
@8bitisthesh1telwell74 Sweet......😁👍 Thanks man.😊🤜🤛
See you guys on Saturday, Can't wait!
I am 16 minutes in and I just got to see your cylinders dump load. Beautiful man work nice. This is one side of the RC business. I haven’t touched on yet is heavy equipment. But there’s still time I’m only 60.😂. maybe after my rich uncle in the poor house dies. I can buy my first piece of equipment lol. I know my grandson would think it was cool if all pops had some RC heavy equipment. I’m laughing because my wife is giving me the evil eye.😳
21 minutes in and I have to say I’m impressed with the loader/excavator has some power. Now, is that hydraulic or electric Gotta be hydraulic to have that kind of power?
😂☝️ Right on with the RC Equipment and whatnot, and I'm still laughing about the rest "especially the evil eye" 🤨😆 total knee slapper there 😂
The excavator is basically running the exact same worm gear screw servos that I'm using on the dump truck.😁 Edited to say that it's Electric ⚡😊
@@R.C.A.D. yes
@danweiss1371 Right on.... 😄👍
Why are you treating my girlfriend so poorly?👍
Because She was asking for it. Ha ha ha lol 😄
Buy 100mm kyx shocks, and your own pen spring. Thats why I did and it worked out. Took awhile to figure out which spring and oil weight. Front is 100% negative droop, spring on shock shaft, 30 weight Rear is 50% stiff negative droop spring, 80 weight. Carbon VRD. Front stays down always on the incline until truck demands flex or reach.
Right on 😁👍🤜🤛
You ought to see what my. Little f m s truck did fireball and the biggest smoke show you've seen in your life😂😵💫😵💫😵💫 I just don't know about this FM. S stuff 👎👎
😦 Holy smokes! Literally That stinks man, and probably still does 😂 "if it was an electrical fire" then that baby is gonna be stinkn for the next few years.🙄 My kyosho blizzard still smells like an electrical fire, and it's been like 5 years or so since it first melted down.😂 FMS model's look the part, but their definitely not a solid vehicle "like most of the other brand names,🤔 It's sad.😔 Sorry for your loss bro 😕
TF2Nice 🚚 🛻 🚛 Truck Maybe. You should keep it to more a trail truck. Not quite so severe Buddy
Good call Kevin 😄 why didn't you suggest that before this video.🤨😆lol
