Grambling State Band '95 Bayou Classic Halftime
Переглядів 38 тис.17 років тому
The Grambling State University Marching Band performs at the Louisiana Superdome during the 1995 Bayou Classic football game between Southern and Grambling. Video ends just before network cut away. Too much talking about how great they are. Prove it!
Southern University Band '95 Bayou Classic Halftime

The Southern University Marching Band performs at the Louisiana Superdome during the 1995 Bayou Classic football game between Southern and Grambling. Drum Major: Chandler Green They were about to play "Thriller" when the video ends. The network only showed about 10 seconds of it anyway. (I always thought they sounded much better than Grambling too.)
Henry Tillman vs. Todd Donahoe

Sportscaster Todd Donahoe boxes Henry Tillman in the KLOS (Los Angeles) parking lot on the Mark and Brian Show. This aired sometime in early 1990.

Not a bad tune on that album!
Just amazing
Man, what a masterpiece!
Yes quality
Back to his Red Rocker roots! Sounds like Montrose in the 70's.
Thank you for posting this. This little collection of sounds and broadcast recordings is wonderful for any old time sport fan. Highly recommended.
Such creativity. Go SU!
Eh
What makes him so great is that no matter what he's doing he's REALLY having fun. A man that came from shit dirt and with pure determination succeed and has so many loyal friends.
Sammy. An epic true musician, song writer and artist. His body of work is amazing over 40 years.
I can't believe Todd knocked him down!
This song is from his 1987 solo album “I never said goodbye” I highly recommend this to any Van Halen/ Sammy Hagar fan! It’s totally awesome!
I was there. Miss that SU life xo
Best band in the land
I have this song on my phone, I love it it rocks. I always think of 3 dudes in belly button shirts and daisy dukes ridin' on a highway pumping their fists as this blares.
Is that Will Lee on bass? With those damn 80-90 pants I can´t tell...
It's 1987 so the pants are correct period pieces....puffy sweatpants or like we called them - jam pants
To be honest, I had never seen or heard Hagar playing guitar, and he´s damn good. I know he had EVH on Van Halen, but I would imagine it is very convenient to have a good guitarist paired to an outwordly creature such as Eddie. On the other hand, Shaeffer´s antics make me cringe, can´t stand the guy. What the fuck is he doing at 2:27? Sounds like a fucking tone deaf idiot!
Dude - he was lead guitarist in all his bands until VH
Artie Fufkin Shaffer always been a tool.
I love that 2 man bass drum. Awesome!
One true legend..the guy has been around since the early 70´s and his hair still obstructs his vision every now and then when he´s trying to hit those chords...AWESOME!!
please..tell me why.
when you think about it your reply doesnt make sense..LOL
@lifeonmars56 oh yeah, these are my favourites from 'never said goodbye', too :-) ('returning home' and esp. 'hands and knees') btw., great backing band he has here
My crab year Fall 95' Tower of Power da T bone sec spuad 25 the TV spuad bby Fabe i'll never forget that day no more crab an no more bald head
@dolceebano ME, Cedric Brown, Horace Grant, and Corey James. The clarinet player in Squad 12 is Elmer Lee who was right next to me on the other side. The Camera man stopped me and said thank you for the great shot after halftime because I almost knocked him over. It was ME. SouthernWhiteHorse
I was there
Classic HBCU Marching Band Halftime Show! Executed the show with class.
hagar still going strong
And in 2017 (almost 18!) still going!
@ Southernwhitehorse. No love, you may be off by a few seconds. I know my brother, right from left, front to back, if you have the same body type and mannerisms. And besides prove it who are the guys next to you in your line?
@dolceebano That wasnt BJ that was Me. SouthernWhiteHorse - "35"

Look at Mrs. Maroney, our Present Orchesis Dance DIrector
@clineshaunt: OSU is good to go but youre right. They have nothing on GSU or SU or even most bands from the SWAC or MEAC!
Sammy looks so freakin' cute in this vid!!!! Love this!!!
mannnn. look at those plooms shakin... they KNOW how to sweep a field.!
I live in Ohio and everything is the OSU Marching Band, TBDBITL and so on. OSU's band doesn't even remotely compare to these bands. They're good but these bands are prodigies.
@icephoenix23 Agreed
One of his best. PERIOD.
Yay! BJ (Tuba Player @ 4:03) Those were the days... Human Juke Box for life!

The Red Rocker Kicks Ass!
There's a lot of jeallusy between Dave and Sam of course Dave allways says they are the only band that can Play and dance, and peaple know Sammy can Dance Too.
KILLER SMILE!!!
He always did have the whitest teeth of any rocker I can recall! LOL
