That burst card has a + symbol between the die slots. Why isn't the attack a base 5 instead of a base 3 attack???
Hey! So the plus means that you can commit multiple dice to this attack to make it stronger. In this instance, you can commit a single attack result to perform a 2-strength attack that targets up to 2 ships. Or, you can commit an attack result plus an attack or movement result to perform a 3-strength attack that targets up to 2 ships. If you spend both dice, the second option overrides the first - they don't add together. The "+" symbol there denotes that the pilot can commit additional dice for a stronger effect, but it's not required. Hope this answers your question!
The beauty and elegance... no idea what the gameplay is, but if it anywhere close to matching the presentation I'm in love.

Thank you for giving these insights into your side of the hobby/industry! It's really interesting and as a backer it's also fun to see the process and progress. Now I'm probably going to be asking for spoilers you cannot give just yet, but does that Stonesaga reprint campaign mean more expansion content as well?? Of course I still have to receive and play the current content first, but this one has me aooo excited. It feels like the Lost In Blue games I played for hundreds of hours on my Nintendo DS and I would love to have something similar in my board game collection ❤

@@GamesBrendanPlays Excellent, that is good to hear. More and more games are using A.I., it's pretty despicable. It's now become the first litmus test for whether I will support a game. :)

I learn every day. I have SoA on the table about half the time. The only cards I can see replacing (after version 1.5 I may have them pretty worn) are the modifier decks. I assume these are present in the new core game, have they been upgraded in the 1.5 Upgrade kit? Can the dice from Battles be used in the core with any ease?
As a solo player I won’t use the ‘family’/interaction mode, so I really appreciate that the core mechanic is solo friendly.
Yeah, as typically a predominant single player when it comes to board games it can be tough when the solo mode is a heck of a lot different then the flow of a multiplayer game. So am here for you on making all the aspects of mechanics accessible for different player counts and can be used optionally as well when you play.
will the next year expansion come with more event cards? I am playing the game a lot right now and I feel that I reach the end of the story, I will lose incentive to grab other characters later if there are not any more events to continue it somehow
So the Reprint and Expansion campaign going on right now have some additions to deal with that. We have revealed 2 new event cards called "Endless events" that you can throw in after you've completed the story. As well, we have a whole new interaction mechanic in the Friends and Family expansion where you can socialize with villagers on an entirely new board. So this will add alternate buildings as well as a "socialization" action as well as some new cards. So I think that will add quite a bit to the game. We have the idea of the 2 character expansion for next year but we have yet to really have details to share with that expansion at the moment.

This expansion needs to be released yesterday! If there is somethin our group is missing then it is interactivity between players. So, please, do it as fast as possible! :)

Brendan, sorry you could not get into Oathsworn. Yes, there is a lot of game, but it can be handled. I think the set up and break down time is the biggest offput for people. My gaming group is enjoying it. We are currently going to playing encounter "9". Natalie, Sleeping Gods is a great system. I have both games with expansions and add ons. I have played a campaign of the original with my gaming group, and we enjoyed it tremendously. Keep digging into it.
will it be in spanish language during campaign?
Unfortunately our Kickstarter campaign will only be in English but we are in touch with publishing partners who will be setting up pre-orders for Mythwind itself. At the moment though we do not have a Spanish language partner.

The Atlas seems interesting, but you lost me at Stickers. I hope there is some other option because that is a terrible idea.
yes stickers is bad idea… that mean you cannot play second time…
@@olegyd Part of the reason that I got interested in the game to start with is that it didn't have anything like that. Kind of annoying that they added it after the fact. I do have a couple other games where we applied the stickers to tokens and just take a picture of where the tokens go in between each session. For another one we printed out the maps and just wrote on them. Hopefully they come up with some kind of similar solution for this one.
@@olegyd I would not have a problem (will not). I write in the campaign/rule/etc. books for all my games as needed. The next guy (maybe me) will just need to use a different color, white-out, or a suitable. I think new sticker sets will be available in all likelyhood. My notes are usually only erratta and which choices I made, not where it will lead or from wence it came. No spoilers, just helps me understand where I am after a pause.
Is there possibility to fix somehow your focus during shooting. It feels like i just watched censored video :-D

Assuming you play on the book and having made terrain for Jaws of the Lion I immediately think about the placement of ships near the binding, the campaign graphic looks like the ring binding cuts into the hexes, not an issue on TTS but in the physical game I'm interested to see what the solution is?
I agree, or is it "difficult terrain"? I think the boss should leak the issue's "solution".
