Mulberry (British TV Series) - A Final Mini-Episode
Mulberry (BBC, 1992-1993) was a fantasy series in which cantankerous Miss Rose Farnaby (Geraldine McEwan) hires Mulberry (Karl Howman) as an assistant. But Mulberry is the son of Death (John Bennett), sent to guide Miss Farnaby through her death to what lies beyond. Miss Farnaby also employs Bert and Alice Finch (Tony Selby and, in season 1, Lill Roughley). Unfortunately, after two seasons, the series was abruptly cancelled without the producers having an opportunity to conclude the story. Bob Larbey, one of the show's creators, detailed his idea for the story's end: ua-cam.com/video/6fjDZSvzMVw/v-deo.html
I have cobbled together a final mini-episode based on his description, using images and audio clips from the show. There were no clips of Mulberry and Miss Farnaby crossing the stone bridge, so I decided on a final sequence of them riding off into the distance on the tandem bicycle, which played a prominent part in the series.
I do not own the rights to Mulberry. I hope you will enjoy this as a tribute video.

Sandor the Saint Bernard - First Snowfall

Snow is not quite as rare in the Pacific Northwest as in Corpus Christi, where Sandor comes from. Here is Sandor in his first snowfall since moving north. His fur is growing back well on his back and near the base of his tail since his skin tag surgery, he has gained over 25 pounds since his arrival, and his coat is fluffier in response to cool weather. Sandor is a five year old Saint Bernard w...

Da le belle contrade

Cipriano de Rore's madrigal (published 1566) on Petrarch's sonnet "Da le belle contrade" is written in the elegant counterpoint of the High Renaissance. But in its chromaticism, its use of dramatic silences, and its juxtaposition of distant harmonies, it prefigures the Baroque ideal of expressing emotion by any means necessary.

The Bearatones - Chorus of the Groundskeepers
I own the DVDs and rewatch this every few years. I’m always saddened that we didn’t get the ending -whoever that stupid BBC executive was-pshaw!! I don’t support a remake, folks always ask for that and it’s the charm of the original actors in the original setting. Very rarely can you bring that back. And I’m crazy to think that actually there was some romantic chemistry between Miss Farmaby and Mulberry?.😅 Like in the afterworld, maybe you know Something else could’ve happened😂😂
Someone should do a reboot of this show, raise the production values, have Karl play Burt or death, and I think Penelope Wilton would be outstanding as Miss Farnaby. It was a crime that the show was canceled before the end. Now it’s a period drama/conedy.
Thanks for who put this together. I just watched Episode 8 this evening and this provides closure.
Such beautiful laughter. Thank you.
do they get bigger or do they get smarter ?

What song is that
JS Bach, Suite No 1 in G for unaccompanied cello, 1st movement
Wow. Never knew this piece, it's quite something! And the drawing at about 1:50 -- is that Leonardo? It's strikingly, I don't know, modern, in contrast to the others.

It's great to see all the work you've been doing. Such beautiful works of art you both make.
