What harness? The engine harness i used was just a universal k swap tuck harness
Haha, my kind of make shit work build. So my wife's r53 is a shit box, and keep having to replace stuff on it. Big surprise, so was thinking this route, but the concern is she wants ac/heat and make it look stock in the cab. Guess I will continue to watch to see how yours turns out :). Love it man!
How’s the Heltech Nexus Rebel preforming? Was there much tuning ability on the Dyno? Don’t know much about this ECU
Its fantastic! Its honestly the best bang for the buck out there. It let me do everything i wanted to do. I was about maxed out on outputs. I think if someone had something more complicated than i had then they would prly want to upgrade to one of the higher level haltech units.

06-11 civic si 4-2-1 header with the 2 tubes side by side not on top of each other.

It is. I bought it from b-racing in the czech republic. I had to use a broker. It was a huge pain in the ass. if you are in the market i will sell mine

What did you use for a donor? Did you have to alter the donor much?
I liked mine. Just two weird things I'm having rn. 1. For actual ls motors and not truck the knock sensor wires are fucking stupid long. And even tho bosch green giants are a common upgrade for Gen 3 swaps it's not a selectable option on start up. Also weird that it didn't come up with a standard 4 pin 1 wire alternator connector. Or least mine didn't.
The knock sensor wiring was way too long on my truck engine also. Thats weird urs didnt come with the 4 pin 1 wire connector. Mine did.

great review. checked out a few of your vids but cant tell if you are running a manual or automatic. The Rebel does not have an way of controlling the automatic trans from my understanding. They are working on it in near future?
I am running a manual. Correct it currently doesn’t have any way of controlling an auto. They have said they are working in it and plan to have that out in the near future
interesting, I'm about to put the rebel ls onto my ls1, have the same injectors so I'll have to watch the injector dead time
injector dead times will almost never match factory specs. lots of things determine your actual dead times for your specific application. one of the first things any tuner will adjust is dead times because they're never right. low or high electrical load (high beams, defroster, wipers, heater fan, thermofan, etc) can even affect the final setting.
Sorry - I know this is an older video. Why would it be out of time if you set everything to factory - ie: line up all cam marks with the cap marks and set the engine at TDC?
It might be ok, but personally i would want the piece of mind to know that its 100% correct in something like this.

So... The R56 seems like more of a PITA to do than the R53. Cutting subframe, denting frame rails, custom header / throttle pedal... what else was a nightmare?
Well this is an r50. I think those were def the worst parts for sure. Radiator fitment was also tricky bc you have to build a radiator support and trying to package it all under the hood while having the hoses work. For me personally the hardest part was making the supercharger kit fit. That was a fitment nightmare.
Cool video I'm interested in this combo but my question is since this is not American made and is China built on the spin balancer does the numbers read in ounces or metric? As we use standard weights here like 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 2.50, 3.00, 3.50 etc?
It has both. You can switch from one to the other
They made the crank sensor plug long because they said they see a lot of burnt wires where it’s ran normally. It’s ment to run it up in front of the engine. Then back down to the crank sensor

Thanks! Nope actually i forgot to tell you that i sold the zero car. I couldnt get it titled in Nebraska. No matter what i tried they wouldn’t do it. I had my buddy register it in iowa then i sold it to someone in iowa. It was a really shitty situation

Its a mix of one b series axle and one rsx base axle.

What headlights are those?
The housings are some universal hot rod lights from speedway motors. The lights themselves are some ebay units for a harley
I bought the combo and the tire machine is very good but use caution as the balancer is total junk. Balance a tire and take it off put it back on and it won't read the same, I called Justin the guy that sells them and he told me that it is working properly and I need to quit re - checking the balance.

Good pro tip, that’s exactly how I do my wires. I also have a good snap on crimper pliers set and it’s a good one, it may be a little expensive but it’s worth the money.
