i just bought a 93 aristo 3.0v in aug of this year come with a blitz nur spec r muffler and man does it sound nice currently getting a wrap put on it
Nice video. Have you noticed any driveability issues or increased fuel consumption because you are venting the BOV to the atmosphere?
@@andrewh2846 thanks man. i only notice it bog when i have it in manual mode and i let off abruptly, then immediately get back on it. the ECU is tuned for full recirc so it runs super rich right after the blow off. I installed mine the same week i got my car so i didnt get much of a comparison, but when im driving it normally i don’t notice anything. its smooth just like stock if you’re cruising around!

Bought my jzs161 v300 vertex edition in october and owned my gs300 for 11 years, and since owning the gs it always made me want the aristo and finally got one, Great video bro!! Would love to see more content on yours

@@thattrillYT you’ll be glad you did! i’d be a few backup replacement filters if i were you, 12,000kms really sneaks up on you if you daily drive the car.

Clean setup!! What size wheel spacer did you go with to make the stock Aristo wheels fit? And, do you have any pics with the Aristo wheels installed with the spacers?

sold mine a couple years ago, definitely miss it. transmission was still buttery smooth. ultimate daily driver.
It is a straight swap for ls430 rear brakes or do you have to have adapters

So no adapters of any kind is needed for tt Supra calipers to aristo correct? Just caliper, pads, rotors & brake lines
@@DavidOrtega-rt8tp that’s correct, brake lines are optional. it’s a good time to do them, but you can hook up your stock ones to the new calipers no problem.
@@spaceboatt i also have an aristo and I’m planning on doing this tt Supra brake upgrade but I’m also going to get the matching rear set. Would you happen to know if it’s the same no adapters needed for the rear too?

@@abdullahkareem6681i deleted the mufflers and secondary cat from the exhaust, it has a TRD catback with no resonators so it’s essentially straight piped. it’s mainly the BOV making it run rich, that’s why it pops haha.

@@Joekerr888 that sucks, i did get this one in 2020 originally for my GS. the updated version of the same model i believe has wireless apple carplay. i’m planning on grabbing that one as soon as this one stops working.

I own a paid off Camry. Love its reliability, can't go wrong with Toyota. But I want to take the next step up without financing a newer car. GS 300s always looked cool but never really appealed to me. Randomly came across this car and it seems perfect for me to up my drive while being outside the box. Thanks for this review man.

I’ve driven the V300 Vertex in the arcade game “ Maximum Midnight Tune 6 rr”. Then I found this vid. ua-cam.com/video/w4MdaFWstBw/v-deo.htmlsi=FqLJVWSmgsbY7x4G I love it. I drive a 2013 Toyota Aurion (3.5 lt V6) but I wish I had a Aristo as well.
the four wheel steer is what really seperates the V300 MK1 and V300 MK2. Thats how u know you got a real Vertex Edition. Not every V300 is a Vertex Edition apparently lol.

lol nice selling points on point. I wish mine had the sunroof option. Keep the seals cherry and it’s not gonna leak… but I love my leather seats. It makes the car feel so much more precious than a jzx100.
i was looking for the cloth seats since they were never an option in the US, at least in this color. I had a GS300 so I had the leather and sunroof experience also, but i sold that car recently and am now missing the luxuries a bit for sure.

What exhaust do you have? I had 2.5 inch from the turbo back into Toms mufflers and its really quiet lol
tom’s mufflers are only slightly louder than stock i’ve heard. i deleted my secondary cat and the car has a TRD catback that deletes resonators. was still too quiet so i deleted the TRD mufflers, so essentially straight piped after the downpipe cat.

congrats bro! whatever you do keep your resonators in, it reduces the rasp you get on the GE engines. All I have done to my GS300 is a rear muffler delete with 4.5in tips and it’s loud while still sounding great.
Just bought one of these last year. I wanted a black one so bad. But ended up with a white one, same specs as yours. Awesome car-good luck with it homie.
likewise brother! my car was white when i bought it too, originally a silver car. I had it sprayed BMW jet black door jams and all, only thing i’m missing is the engine bay.

i wonder how much a gte model would have gone for MSRP over a 400 or 430 brand new, interesting to think about.
@@spaceboatt according to Google the 400 was 46,000 and the 300 was 37,000, so I’d say 50k-ish considering the difference between an NA Supra and turbo Supra was around 15k. Apparently the V300 was sold for 4.4 million yen which came out to 30k usd so there’s also that. But I imagine not having to import it to a different country means it’s cheaper and also not being labeled the luxury brand.
