Congratulations a.nd well done Dr Waniko
Thankyou minister 🎉
can you share this report please
It is a recording of a live broadcast. Please listen to the end, the interview is contained within it
The solution is simple but we refuse to plan well, Create an inland port terminal at some location close to the Lagos-Ibadan/Benin expressway, such as Mowe or at Otta in Ogun state. A railway will link the Apapa and Tin Can ports to this inland port and most containers will be ferried by train to this inland port. 80-90% of Trucks will collect and drop off at this point and from there carry the goods inland. Only goods destined for Lagos metropolis should be collected at the seaports. Lagos will be de-congested and de-polluted
That last scream 🤯 at the end of the video was not necessary
Na today! Make we dey watch.
Bro, it has lasted more than 2months already. The road was cleared on the 13th of March,2024. Its like a miracle. From Airport to inside Apapa now takes max 15mins. Its really a miracle
@@chigoziendulue5780 ok bro
12 years?
I honestly suspect traffic has moved to Port Harcourt.
Sustainance and maintenance are the key words required.
Well done!
Awesome progress. I hope this can be sustained
Good reportage. Well done to the reporters & production crew of Maritime TV. Also, well done to everyone at the Ports the collaborative effort in clearing the bottlenecks around the roads. 👏🏽

What can African ports do to become more a smart hub amid daunting challenges?
Thank you for joining the conversation. She mentioned intentionality of nations in the pursuit of automation.

Great. I hope your voice will be heard by the concerned bodies. Our maritime agency are not helping the situation as well. I think should hit the nail on the head. Because they gave room for some shipping companies to do and act anyhow they want, and maltreat seafarers as they wishes Thanks Mr Emmanuel

I never know Port Harcourt seaport was the first seaport to be established in Nigeria. I used to think it was Calabar or Lagos

FEEDBACK If you have an English speaking guest. Then proceed in English, only. If you have a French speaking guest then proceed in French, only. You waste time manually translating when instead the captions can do the translations. The time is cut short because you're translating.
Thank you Martime TV Africa, thank you Dr. Obiora Madu for sharing with us your insight and expertise. It is up to Africans to discuss and implement matters that would spur the economic development of our continent. Keep that spirit, we shall overcome!
Thank you for joining the conversation
It's quite interesting that Dr Obiora pointed out the issue of value addition with regards to achieving UNCTAD predictions on Africa as the next big force in global supply chain. Thanks for your insightful points and contributions.
Thank you for joining the conversation
Dr. Madu, a Pan-Africanist, thanks for being here to share your knowledge and thoughts.
Thank you for joining the conversation
What is your opinion about what they are saying, Dr. Madu? What can Africa do to close the gap devoid of Western opinion interference?
Nigeria needs a skilled and adaptable workforce capable of contributing to various stages of the supply chain, from manufacturing to logistics and distribution.. Emphasis should be placed skills acquisition
Thank you for joining the conversation
