I always struggle a. Bit with working out how tight to do the elastic for waist and like here to hold the sleeve in place I dnt no how to work that out I'm pretty new to sewing so learning every day

Question. After shirring my bobbin casing would not tighten for regular thread to finish top. Did I stretch it out with elastic thread and need to get another one ?

Quick hack, I would sew the string going down instead of across as the bow wil then out straight rather than diagonal if that makes sense xx

This may be a silly question, do you need 2x pieces of fabric for the front and back of dress to sew together? or could you just have one large piece of fabric that goes around? Would it change the shape?

Love your channel! I had similar diagnosis and made the change from keto to carnivore and had wonderful improvements with digestion. I also intermittent fasting. Great improvements when my body isn't trying to digest food all the time.

So related to your diagnosis story. Before I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis my GP asked me if I was depressed and was that causing my symptoms. I cried I felt so unwell but I wasn't depressed. I told her I felt like I was getting the flu all the time and she said in a really condescending tone, "What do you mean" finally she agreed to a blood test and my CRP was off the scale. 2 years down the line I am on biological therapy as normal DMSRDs were not working and the GP is still a cow

Related to this so much! I had my baby boy about 3 weeks after you and the mom talk was all 100% me. I also studied to be a teacher and decided not to pursue it after student teaching for all the reasons you listed. I have so much respect for teachers!

Gosh Brogan I can relate to you with your IBS I went through the very same thing but it was Celiac I was diagnosed with eventually It can be so hard at times but we learn to adjust and live with it Love your “ Make Up “ you look so lovely Really enjoy your Blogs and glad you have your Mum around to help you Can I ask personally where you come from as you sound very like me I was born in Fife but came to Australia from Edinburgh I just love listening to you and your sewing is amazing I am very much a beginner now as hadn’t sewn for over 40 yrs Have a wonderful Xmas with your family ❤️🌹
