Yeah, don't give up hope! If you used Alcohol Ink your result will be different though...the colors will be more washed out looking. I used Resin Inks here which are more 5x more concentrated than Alcohol Inks. Only place that makes these is Octopus Fluids. The resin you use will affect the outcome as well. Good luck!

It would have helped to glue down the dichroic sheet before pouring the resin! I didn't have problems before, doing this, but because I put the sheet of dichroic film in, with the "bubble" side facing up, I think that caused the problem. Eventually everything settled down!

Yeah, it's just the dichroic film over Black Pigment paste. The black background helps the colors to pop!

As I explained in the video, the top two Pendants (with the Pyrite) are Orgonite Pendants. They are the only Pendants that have the metal (aluminum) and Crystals in them. The Dichroic Pendants only have the resin and film. Orgonite is created when you mix equal parts of resin and metal, and one Quartz Crystal. When these three elements are mixed together, they continuously clear any unwanted energy, by taking it in, “washing” it, and sending it back out as cleared energy. We add additional Crystals and metal pieces to enhance the vibration and look of our Orgonite Products. Hey Kathy! Yeah, I love color shift Mica, but I'm noticing more and more that the color shift or synthetic micas will change the look of a pour!

Just like the video shows, it's just Mica poured into resin. Nothing else added to it! Art Pro Resin, by Resin Pro, is a very "reactive" resin, and we use it for most of our pours for that reason. You won't get this type of cell effect with just a basic resin.

Thanks for the compliments! Reputable companies that make Mica should disclose how their products are made. If the Mica is synthetic, it might still work but it totally changes the resin pour. Also, not all Mica's are color stable. Meaning it might look Pink in the jar but when you add resin to it, there might be Gold in there as well. Or, if you put Black or White behind the same Mica color, the Mica can change color. Hard to tell this until you use a bunch of different Mica powders.
