Finally, my opinion just dropped… But fr great video as usual!

The big problem with streaming is that streaming was never really designed to be a sustainable model, back when Netflix and Hulu were the new (only) kids on the block, they existed to disrupt television by making it possible watch a catalog of movies and tv from home without needing to buy or rent without ads. Netflix although being popular was never breaking even since it would spend as much as it was earning trying to finance their shows. Netflix back before Disney plus made waves or peacock got back the office had to hike their price so many times since 2015 and has gotten to the point that they had to break promises to why people came to them (adding ads, zipcode locking profiles so people can’t password share). now that other streaming services entered the streaming market hoping to get big they need everything posted to drive engagement and numbers, if it isn’t then it’s not making money. Streaming and modern movie franchises has made made Hollywood and the studios too big to fail and bloated. And it makes sense, they’re running a business and if a business wants to grow,and sees that they could potentially make billions, then anything less is a failure or risky passion project. It’s a reason I became disallusioned with big budget films and studios.

I want to see character that of various backgrounds kick butt just because and not because they have to. Have actual development and not insane abilities out of nowhere. Be able to be punched down and get back up again. Because that is the true human experience.

This is also why international show are even more popular these days. The storytelling that Hollywood is trying to make by being so literal. Is happening in other countries. We have seen it with Heartbreak High, Heart Stopper, Degrassi. A story can be a hit without unnecessary shock factor. I have seen from Asian media stories with element or topics from the three shows but broken down. I have just seen some trailers for new movies on which is very exciting as the creativity is shining though.🎉❤

Everything you said is spot on! I used to love the challenge growing up but it seems like the last 5 years, it been slacking and I'm no longer interested. I love bananas, he makes the show for me!

Lately the main series of the Challenge has been a snoozefest (especially s39). I think All Stars is everything the main show lacks and exactly what fans have been asking for. AS4 is airing right now and its extremely obvious why they chose to air it after 39 despite having filmed before 39.

You're absolutely right about the new saga having no direction. There's no lure and build up to the next big super hero group or villain. It feels like Marvel is throwing everything at the wall and trying to see what sticks. I think their success with the Infinity saga got to their heads and they forgot the true essence of their own movies. The difference between the early movies and the recent ones is night and day. I think they need to take a break and go back to their roots, otherwise they're gonna keep pushing out sub par movies.

Your analysis was spot on. I definitely didn't realize the differences between the male and female leads. I grew up during the Disney Renaissance. The last princess I liked was Pochoantas. I was a bit too old to appreciate Mulan when she arrived. I was disappointed in the changes they made for the live action. The 2D princesses were so different.
