Maybe it wasn't creepy then but it's creepy now. Any abandoned motel that is sitting empty is kind of creepy in my opinion. I'm sure it was nice when it was first built.

@@jameshoward1215 I don't sell new mobile homes. I sell real estate. Mobile homes are considered personal property unless they are permanently affixed to land that is owned by the same person. I am trying to suggest different affordable options. As I stated in the video, I can either help people find suitable land for their mobile OR I can help them find a resale mobile home that's been titled to land. If you're not interested in a mobile home, that's your business. I created this video to inform the public and entertain. That's all.

Our mobile home has apprecuated wuite a bit. When we went to the county apriasal dustrict, we were told that our house had appreciated because there was glass in our front door. They said they had never seen glass in the ftont door of a mobile home. Sigh.​@@maryleachmanrealtor

Fleetwood Mobile Homes are known for their quality construction, customization options, and affordability. I think the company has been around since 1950, when they originally sold trailers and campers. They've expanded their line over the years to include manufactured and modular homes.

It is a stock photo that I used purely for aesthetics as I don't have a picture of this mobile home's exterior. It's not a good choice, but there were few 'free' options for me to use and it is what it is. Let me make this clear: i am not in the business of selling mobile homes. I don't care what mobile home you buy or who you purchase it from. I made this video purely for entertainment and to inform people about affordable housing options. I DO NOT WORK FOR THIS BUSINESS!!! Please visit your nearest mobile home dealership to see what they have to offer. There are literally TONS of choices out there.

@@maryleachmanbeautyconsultant OK fine watching houses melt in the sun is good entertainment too .Cars melt in front of the Disney Theater from the shape of the building reflecting sunlight on to the cars until they melt. Disney has always tried to keep us entertained as far back as I can remember. Poor People need some fun too while they are waiting for tornado season !

You sound bitter. Don't buy a mobile home if you don't like them. I know some have lasted for decades and the owners took good care of them--in southern states where it gets hot and humid. I have never owned one, but I know some people are interested in mobile homes because of their affordability. Everyone needs a place to live. I have nothing against them. They are good options for some people but they are not for everyone. Owning land with a mobile home on a permanent foundation is better than owning one and having to pay a lot fee. Please don't spread your bitterness here.

I lived in an old one in Point Dume club in Malibu I paid 79 and sold it for 900k after I gutted it and rebuilt from the inside out space rent is only 1,100 a month and that same house on a private lot would be very expensive due to the property taxes ,and an empty lot in Malibu with an ocean view is % million easy . They are a good idea sometimes.I am not bitter at all except that I sold it at the wrong end of the market according to Zillow but such is life.

Hi there! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. There IS another entrance/exit in the laundry room. I just didn't see it because i didn't walk all the way around the mobile home. You can see it when I walk through the laundry room. Thanks for pointing that out because I want everyone to know that it does have another door. And by the way, the picture in the thumbnail is not the same home. It's just a stock photo that I used--just for aesthetics. I don't have a good picture of this mobile home's exterior. But it is a beautiful home.

Yes, I suspected it was a cheap place to stay - probably because of the age of the motel. It doesn't look like it's been abandoned/empty that long, so I can believe that it was still being used a few years ago. But it probably will deteriorate more over the years if it's not being maintained. Its condition is not so bad right now but it will continue to get worse over the years. At one time this was a new motel, so I think it might have been pretty nice when it was new. I know it would not have been an expensive place, but I'm guessing that it would have been a good, affordable, and clean place to stay for the night. I would like to go inside at least one or two of the rooms and take a look around, but it may not be safe to enter and there are no trespassing signs.
