Why Electric & Co. Sucks: EC4P v3 vs The "One"
Переглядів 6627 місяців тому
I got tricked (hype/marketing) into buying the EC4P v3 only for yet another version to be release months after I bought It for more than they currently sell the new replacement. This video is why you should buy a Sotion instead. E&C thinks they can do what they want. I'm sharing my experience dealing with them I hopes of educating potential new-comers the world of modified razors. In this video...
72v Razor SX-500 Exploded the Kelly! Plus New TOY!
Переглядів 8398 місяців тому
I finally blew up my Kelly KVD7212N on the razor SX-500 and replaced it with a KVD7215N from the MX-650. I had to re-learn the motor to the new controller. I had tuned it down to 80 amps and it still needs to go down a little! This thing RIPS! Also I bought a new daily driver/ simple seat time car! moddedbyp/ moddedbyp
Test fitting s14 subframe (350z diff) into s13 coupe
Переглядів 11611 місяців тому
In this video, I finally test fit the s14 subframe into the s13! It fit like a glove once I busted the hammer out and made some clearance. Its freshly powder-coated with prismatic triple bronze powder. The 350 is sporting a q45 cover with conversion studs from GKtech. The conversion bushing to make all this possible are also GKtech. moddedbyp/ moddedbyp

moddedbyp/ moddedbyp The s13 coupe project is coming along nicely. In this video, I weld the GKtech reinforcements on the s14 subframe. It's going to end up in the s13 so I can mount up a z33 differential/axles with some GK conversion bushings. I swapped the camber plates on the brand new BC (ds series, 9k/6k) coil overs for the FDF wide angle ones.

25ish depending on rider weight
8 months no alignment. That's super florida of you lol
tbh i havent even done it yet lol, i gave it the ole eyeball and it drives pretty damn straight!
@ModdedByP I'm in tampa brother keep up the good work.
@@CharmleysChopShop I lived in palm harbor for many years! I still have a 727 number too!
Can you make it faster??
only if you put a bigger motor and you would need to make something or buy something to mount it, a new controller to support the correct voltage you want to run. This is a 24v over-volted to 36v.
Whats the wheel and tire size?
these were a 275/45/r20... im on a 275/40/r22 now, got some bigger wheels

Are you able to take off the sprocket on “The one” motor? If you are can you tell me how because I seem to be struggling with it
it's reverse threaded... hit with impact in reverse
any updates how it turned out ?
it was awesome! its really a great product that fits tight... I've recently learned that some people don't even glue it, just rock it on there raw dog!
can this be done with a Razor dirt quad as well? I'm assuming yes huh. I really want to give it a try!
yes! most of all the razors use the same parts!

Hey i got an battery called caomm its 36v and 10ah how much minutes would u think it lasts.
maybe 30 mins at 20mph
Hey for the mx400 that u built for ur daughter how much minutes or hours does it last i need mine to last about 6 to 8 hours
6 or 8 hours is over $1000 for just the battery and it probably wouldn't fit on a small bike like this, 2 fully charged batteries get me about 45 mins of ride time... on my big 72v with a $600 battery I only get about 2-3 hours depending on how fast you go. Your butt will hurt after about 30 mins, why do you need 6 hours of ride time?
@@ModdedByP i like to ride everywhere thats why

Where did you get the metal for the extension
I bought some rectangle stock tube from onlinemetals.com
Sorry and it’s a 1/8 thickness I checked and they said they don’t have that thickness
I think whatever I bought was slightly thicker than an eighth I have to check my order form later on
ok so it was actually metalsdepot.com 1-1/2 X 1 X 11 GA (.120 wall) A513 Rectangle Steel Tube is what I ordered item #: T1112111
Where’d you find the settings for your Kelly programming

Just ordered the parts .will try it on our mx500. Thank you
Ok I see you Keep the factory front bump stop what did you do for the rear?
the kit came with smaller bump stops for the rear but I over-torqued them and they fell apart... so no bump stop in the rear...
What did you do with bump stops? Factory front bump stop?
in the back no bump stop, I honestly cant remember about the front... I think factory bump just hits the lower DJM arm
How long did shipping take
been a while since then but it was fairly quick from what I remember, maybe a week?
You wouldn’t be worries about dirt and water getting in motor?
i definitely avoid water and mud, but a little dirt never hurt!
Music links? Shazam did not pick them up; also thanks for the vid! I was looking into this
yea you wont find the music because I make it lol @producedbyp
Congrats on your new crib!! Hit me up.
Thanks man!
How long does it last until you have to charge?
About 30 mins depending how many hills and how fast your cruising
I have an 06 4 door on the same djm 4/6 drop kit. And I cannot get my alignment to stay correct. Any suggestions?
What's getting messed up on it? have you attempted to re torque the bolts? DJM Told me to use lock-tite on the factory bolts... i havent jacked it up since then to re check mine but the steering wheel is shaking a bit for me now... I think my drivers side is already sagging again with a new spring in it...
@@ModdedByP the insides of my front tires get eaten up with the negative camber. I have had 4 different alignment jobs on it and even went with custom cam bolts. Ones with individual holes vs the factory cams. After 3 thousand miles I retorqued everything and every 5 miles from that point. But it's all new underneath as in suspension, new steering rack n pin, new sway bar links, new shocks, new upper and lower control arms, new rear main seal, new brakes: it's all new and I still can't get a straight alignment. I wish I knew the magic mechanic to fix this issue...lol
from what I have seen on my drift cars the toe will wear the tire way before the camber... I run like -4 degrees on the front and never see tire wear. I would definitely try an alignment shop that does lowered vehicles regularly. I'm guessing you cant get anymore camber out of the adjustment, are the control arms on the wrong side of the truck? just seems crazy you cant get any more out of camber adjustment @@jasonchambers2435
When I put my drop on I had to completely rebuild my entire front end plus new wheel bearings once I did that it really tightened up the front end and now my alignment stay straight

but did you die though? lol some times just got to live a little 😅
You can order training wheels for this bike I just set it up for my five-year-old, and I was looking for a way to change the throttle to a variable throttle

I know you said the pan head screws aren't the right size for the tube protectors but they are "supposed to be" used for them. You were apparently given the wrong size screws. I bought the same forks and it came with that type screw, only smaller, for that purpose. Either he was given the wrong ones and just forwarded them to you or it was his mistake sending you the wrong ones.

I have an 72v and the same motor what controller can I put to make go 45mph

What’s the range? I want to build a 48v 1800w razor mx500 for my son but with drill batteries.
I'm not sure how far it will go but it runs for a solid 30 mins -45mins depending how fast your cruising
What's top speed with this setup?
with the current gearing setup up (11t/72t w/ 12" wheel) it will do about 45mph (closer to like 43 actual)

The batteries used on the Mx-400 are about $70 for two 6.5ah Dewalt style batteries... you could probably find some cheaper but I got these on amazon. The wiring is easy because the Fast scooter kit is labeled and plug n play. just have to connect the two power wires for the battery,
