S9E10 Dr Louise Newson: How Perimenopause Can Impact Our Mental & Physical Health
In the final episode of this series, Natalie is joined by GP & Menopause Specialist Dr Louise Newson to debunk the myths and misinformation around perimenopause and menopause. From menopause being labelled a disability to the idea of it being over medicalised, Natalie and Louise bring their individual thoughts to the table with Dr Newson providing expert insight and advice on how to manage symptoms.
Whilst the conversation covers various aspects of Louise’s role as a specialist and pioneering doctor, we are also given a more personal view of Louise as the woman behind the public persona and how she has dealt with difficult situations in her own life, including shedding light on her own perimenopause experience.
Throughout the chat the pair discuss the rise of menowashing and the unfairness of companies preying on desperate women for financial gain and how medical professionals are also falling prey to the commercialisation of menopause. Elsewhere Louise talks frankly about how cycle tracking, lifestyle changes and open conversations in our personal relationships can help us feel more empowered during the perimenopause transition and how hormonal treatment across our reproductive and post reproductive years needs to be discussed on a wider level, with frequent reform to ensure women are receiving the best possible care.
Listen in for an informative and personal conversation with one of the leading voices in menopause care.

This sounds like a dupe of The Belief Code, developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson many years ago.
Ça fait plaisir de revoir cette magnifique actrice je l adore…… merci pr cette vidéo. Un petit coucou de France 🇫🇷👋👋👋♥️♥️
Thank you both!
Thank you so much for watching.
Thankyou ☺️
Thank you so much for watching.
So important to empower women with knowledge 💪 Thank you!!!❤
Thank you for tuning in.
I'm very dubious that this is a big new thing. It's age old self exploration, self belief and mind over matter. Nothing new here just fancy packaging. Unless someone could send me a more convincing example. That's not me tearing other women down but i can't stand watching physical/mental/spiritual/emotional exploration packaged into a business model, it feels icky and financially motivated
Every modality gets re packaged to some degree. Different styles of yoga emerge, different healing practices and ways of doing things. If it comes from a place of integrity I don’t see a problem. The vast majority of ppl need a ‘fad’ or label to get them into even considering spiritual practices, look at hot yoga for eg. People need to hear about the science behind healing and these ladies express the information flawlessly imo. Nothing wrong with charging people for your business model either 👍🏼
❤
Jade is a nice crystal, corresponding to the heart chakra.
I wanna see more Love Island stars from 2017 and their life stories: Alex Beattie, Kem Cetinay, Montana Brown. ❤
Will you invite Alex Beattie for an interview?
Promo-SM 😄
Amazing person jess
All teachers should hear this
Dr Liz such a sweet heart, she is always try to help even though she go through some hard times herself ❤❤❤
Thank you for your comment.❤️
This video should have millions of views! Very informative, interesting and important. Thank you ladies, for us women in our 40's, but also younger or menopausal, this subject is massively important. Thank you ❤
Thank you for your comment, we really appreciate your feedback.
Wow, I have NEVER heard or seen anyone discussing this in the public arena! I was an early developer, a saggy double D by the time I left primary school. It ruined my childhood. No more running, jumping or skipping, and the comments from people who really should have known better. I had a reduction as soon as I could afford it, which I also felt judged for but it was SO worth it, physically and mentally. Now my ten year old daughter is going through the same.
Regarding the benefits of testosterone beyond libido I need look no further than my neutered tom cat, fat and docile, asleep most of the day, compared to the intact male cat of the same age next door, lean, muscular and agile, glossy coat, exploring several streets away. Rocket science it is not!
By the way, can you ask your mate what she thinks of Chemtrails (geoengineering)?
Climate Emergency, Global Warming is a compete fraud. All part of the UNs 17 SDGs agenda to subjugate humanity. It's Poppycock as David Bellamy said and Tobin's no good, she's a shill for the cabal deep state.
I think a lot of us understand that we make these beliefs when we are young and going back to that place and breaking it apart, helps us to be more present in the now, but I do wish she’d actually share some techniques if she did that I’d actually share her knowledge and share her pages with people But it’s all just a bit scammy. It’s a shame because I agree with everything you’re both saying, but she never says anything about the technique that is Dodgy
She never actually mentions how belief coding works, and what the actual techniques are and if you look back on any of her UA-cam videos she never mentioned how it works. That makes me a little bit dubious I’m afraid. Unless of course you could send me a link where she actually speaks about what it really is. ???
Jade was done dirty with the Sugababes. She was so ahead of the other two vocally and i think it shows that they gave her the lead from their first song together: Freedom. Theres a live peformance if it where she just smashes it and it looks so effortless. She also seemed less interested in the 'sexibabes' style Amelle and Heidi were going for at the time too. I really would love to have seen her replace Amelle.
Yeah that would've been a better move. Jade and Amelle should've never been in the same lineup.
After years and years of trauma and suffering with fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression I’m having my first discussion with someone about this . I really hope it works because I’ve never felt good about myself at all .
It really does work ❤
I have followed your channel and your interviews with the stars are also beautiful and interesting
I have a question for you, where can I find out the latest news about actress Sophia Myles!! Secondly, will you interview her again?? And thank you
I noticed something in the interview. I was born in 1981. Many of the qualities of actress Sophia Myles apply to me. She is a beloved and kind actress. She is an icon of British cinema. She has a very, very distinctive acting performance.
What a beautiful interview. From time to time I watch this video. Beautiful chat. I am an Arab Christian. My English is almost weak. I am a huge fan of the beautiful, elegant actress Sophia Myles. She is an icon that will not be repeated.
Did not explain anything, to try, believe or trust, Jess's ideas,. Just a boring, BIG Smiling chat show
Joining Sugababes to replace the last original member was such a bad career move. She's better off solo, she carried the last lineup.
I have my first belief coding session in a few days! Very excited ❤
Not to be a braggart, but it looks like I was the first to comment on this video.
I found a comment on a post of some different site of Lorraine's saying, I don't know what the reference was to, but it said, "I would have been ignored, refused food, etc. Seriously, ignoring your child is one thing, and I guess it's not the worst thing you can ever do, as long as it's not permanent, but refusing your child food is abuse. I just had to bring that up somewhere. I only have an account for UA-cam, that's why I pointed out it was on some different site.
❤❤❤❤❤
What a wonderful uplifting lady Stephanie is. She proves any barrier can be overcome if determined enough. Long may her success continues.
Just what I needed to hear right now. I have experienced so many of the things Lisa speaks about. Great interview
Thank you so much for listening and so glad you found it helpful.💫
Aw Jess, its so lovely to see you doing these interviews. You're a total rock star!!! As an accredited Belief Coding® facilitator, I can honestly say this modality has completely transformed my life. It really is every bit as amazing as Jess says it is!
Where can I find the latest work or interviews with actress Sophia Miles / a very, very classy actress
So glad I found this interview. It was so very empowering and heartwarming to see women supporting each other. We need to open up to each other and tackle any taboos. We are strong and stronger still when we have each others backs 💕
Thank you so much for watching and we totally agree with you! 🙌🤍
We got to know you on The dose. I have no problem with it a you made us laugh.
I'm the same , radio was the escape, I have Autism Spectrum disorder which was never heard of in the 80s-90s, I only found out what it was 5 years ago. I'm frum Barnsley, you were one of my heroes with Simon Logan,, Ray Stuart, simon James , Ross Jingle Dickinson n all Hallam n Aire n Viking DJs We lstened to the dose on the school run always. Our first cat was called Dave.
ahhh beautiful natalie , she can talk about her boobs any day of the week and i will listen , stunner,
I remember her in Brookside, I'm glad it's coming back.
Jade seems like one of the nicest people ever! She is in a movie with Steven Seagal, and there's a scene where he utters a line I'm almost certain was not scripted, lol.
Really lovely interview ladies.
Thank you so much for tuning in.
I am gonna watch the show, I didnt know. I really wanted her to open up about the babes era and how that all went down. I feel like she was always honest regarding situations within the band and felt quite uncomfortable with the whole scenario she was thrust on. Amazing talent. shine on J
Congratulations on the launch of your new Series 8 podcast “In conversation with” thank you both for taking time to raise awareness and speak about Peri menopause and menopause, I appreciate you helping us in advanced and giving us your advice so we have a better understanding and more information. I’ve learnt a lot. Looking forward to the next episodes coming up. Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration as well. Best wishes to you both ❤❤
Thank you so much!! We are so glad you enjoyed the episode and found it helpful.🙏
Super excited to tune in on Sunday Natalie, thank you for this lovely video. ❤
