You get a bit more dynamic range with S-log 2, and if you want to do color grading, S-log 2 is the better option. However, it is a little bit trickier to expose correctly, and you need to know how to color grade. Plus, I just prefer the look that I get with S-log 2 compared to HLG 3. Hopefully, that answered your question! 🙂

Thank you very much! 🙂 Yes, it is built-in DaVinci Resolve LUT. You can find it in the Film Looks folder - Kodak 2383. To use the LUT correctly, you will need to change the Color Space Transform - Output Gamma to Cineon Film Log. I use S-log 2, S-gamut, and set details to -4; the rest I leave as is.✌

Hey! Thank you very much for your comment! The location is pretty important and the fog obviously makes the mood. Set the white balance for the blue tones, choose the correct music and don't forget the sound design. I am planning to make tutorials on how I make my videos so keep following! 😉
