Painter Printmaker

I’ve been a professional artist working in watercolours for a little over 35 years.

It’s difficult to believe when you look back how long it has been.

It’s abstract, in a way, in my mind.

The old saying time flies …well it sure does.

Over those years I have made a lot of faux pas and have also had a lot of positive results.

My work has been sold to private collections across Canada and the United States, as well as many other parts of the world.

They can be found in public and private collections and for that I am very grateful.

My work consists primarily of watercolours that reflect my life along the Acadian shores of Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova-Scotia where I live.

It reflects traditional sentiment, and suggest a collective sense of environment, culture and community.

For me there is nothing more important, and that is to be authentic.

I paint what I know. I paint what I live day to day.

I am also a printmaker and mixed media artist.
