I've lived here my whole life, and watching this video brings back so many memories... especially Grandview Parkway and seeing so many recognizable places now gone....Captain Jack's? I vaguely remember that. I think the last recollection I can remember was that place being Shooter's, a sports bar and grille? Crazy how much this town has changed....

Great video, but it's so harrowing seeing that roadside zoo. That badger is a nocturnal burrowing animal, it's rolling around like that because it's crazed from being in a tiny concrete cell. The wolf and foxes are also visibly stressed, and the falcons in the dung-encrusted cage...I can't believe it took so long to shut down!

Wow, quite the memories. This looks more like mid 80's based on a couple car models I saw that wouldn't have been '82. I would come here as a kid in the mid 80's. When Poppycock was a cool little 50's diner called Sydney's. My parents eventually moved to TC in the early 90's and I got to grow up in that idyllic place I remember visiting in the summers as a kid. What a really great place to grow up. Crazy how much it's changed. Some for the better, some for the worst. Here it definitely looks like a summer lodge town.
