Mount Taranaki in New Zealand
Mount Taranaki or Taranaki Maunga is a dormant stratovolcano located in Taranaki on the west coast of New Zealand’s north island. At 2,518m high, it is the second highest peak in the North Island. According to the legend, Taranaki Mounga once stood with the mountains of the central North Island. After a dispute over the maiden Pihanga, Taranaki fled his ancestral home, carving out the bed of the Whanganui River on his journey to the coast. The Egmont National Park containing Taranaki Maunga was formed in 1900 and is the second oldest national park in New Zealand. Within its 33,500 hectares (129 square miles), the range of native vegetation is extraordinary.

Looks congested beyond belief and that's just off-peak. 1 000 cars trying to use that area at once. Better living everyone. Too small now for the 100s of new streets for the immigrants.
17:16 I was out running years ago now, I turned that blind corner at the hedge as I went station to Oxford and smacked full speed into a runner turning the same corner going the other way. That hurt. Ahead on the left are two very early Tawa Flat houses, but the drive ends just before seeing them. Naturally I took that corner wide after that every time. If a train was coming in, it was a race to get up and over the bridge to Duncan before the commuters blocked it - good times. Didn't realise just how many frickin palm trees there are. Maybe rename it Palmy Trees? Notably absent and thankfully so any driving tours of Bell St. They might take ya dashcam.
