I have gone through the same wonderful times gone by and the intriguing field of RF communications, I am 59 now and live in the UAE. Back in the days I used to listen to shortwave radio and could hear stations from around the world! This ultimately got me into ham radio, but i never got to getting the licence in india as then the responsibility of getting on with employment, marriage, family - wherein life got hectic. I never gave up though, I am now a ham A65LB [ UAE]. I would like to know if I would need to obtain a licence in India if I were to operate from there - some day? 73s
