The rattle sound usually comes from the clutch shoes /the end metal or aluminum area/ touching the clutch bell. This happens when the pads are bellow minimum limit The shoes must be at least 2.0mm. When new, they are 3.3mm /example for Yamaha XMax 250i/. These pads lasts at least 60000km. Cleaning the clutch will fix the problem only if you feel shaking when drive off.
