Sounds like my life with our son. It’s hard! I feel like you were describing my son. He is 10 and it’s still hard for us.

I am new here and have a few questions... How long has she been attending ABA and how often does she attend speech? Does she attend OT as well? We started ABA 3months ago. My son is 4yrs and 7months, non verbal, not potty trained, have trouble sitting still and most of all behavioral concerns. He is diagnosed with ASD but not sure if he is ADHD as well.

My daughter gets up from her seat a lot during meal time too. We tried one of those wiggle fidget seats but it didn't do much for her and she didn't care for it. We have to give her constant reminders to come back to the table but often times she just needs to get a stim out (she loves to run around). Then she'll come back. Some days are better than others. But it's tough and frustrating sometimes I know! Even my sister's son who's not on the spectrum has always had problems with staying in his seat at the dinner table and he's 17 now and still does it from time to time. So who knows... 😆

The last few weeks have been very difficult for us too; and it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, however things have started to get a little bit better. I’m suspicious that my girl might have ADHD too. She is very similar to Emma who is an inspiration to us
