Locking weapons behind levels isn't ideal but I like the idea of rewarding getting good at a certain class and locking away harder to use weapons like The Direct Hit (which requires a ton of precision and getting used to due to the faster rocket speed) or The Buff Banner (sacrificing your on-demand damage for a buff that requires you to stay alive for a long time to use) from your average Gibus Andy. The only drawback I could see is with how many weapons each class has and only 10 levels you'd need to give multiple weapons for each level reward, and a new player getting swarmed with 2-3 new weapons at once could feel overwhelmed. Another idea that I'd like is special titles for getting levels and a way for other players to see your title + how high your level is.
