Hello sir, yung sa bandang dulo po ng video which is yung sa values of reaction: R=R' + u•Rc , add po ba dapat talaga or subtract? 48 minus half nung 37.5388 po yung 29.2306
A is hinge ? or A is pin?
PIN or HINGE can resist horizontal and vertical forces...same lang
Outstanding, many thanks. I encourage everyone to subscribe.
Thanks for the support!
wtf is this language
you went over slope, but not deflection (unit load at A)
since the problem is to determine the slope at A, then you will apply unit moment.
sayop boss?

hi sir ask lang, condition na sir kanang distance nga 6m to the right of C og 2m to the right of D?
oo...part sa illustration sa Muller-Breslau...
@besfrenjohny Thank you sir
Language barrier 🚧
sorry...this video was originally intended for my students....anyway, you can click the caption/subtitle....hopefully it can help you....thank you...
How about a distributed trapezoidal load po? What equation to use instead of "WL²/2"? Thank you po in advance!
just subdivide the load into a rectangle (uniformly distributed) and a triangle (uniformly varying)...so thr will be two separate diagrams...a 2nd degree spandrel and a 3rd degree spandrel.
Thank you Sir
you're welcome...
Thank you po
you're welcome...
Thank you po Sir. God Bless po
you're welcome...
Hello sir portal at cantilever method give the same answer po or hindi?
hindi...since they are both approximate methods...
Awesome!
thank you!!!
How can u get 8/5 & 3/5
you just sum up moment about point C (roller support). you will get 8/5...and then sum up force along the vertical to get 3/5 downward.
You extend the load to still form it a right triangle and then apply the same (trapezoid in form) acting upward....and once you cut a section the get the expression of M, subdivide the upward load(trapezoid) into a rectangle (uniformly distributed) and a triangle (uniformly varying).
@besfrenjohny yes sir but if yung triangular load po ay nakabaliktad let's say na ang 0 kN/m ay nasa bandang right side then constantly increasing papuntang left side of the beam..
@@osweng163 make it a rectangle(uniformly distributed) by adding a right triangle and then apply the same load acting upward...
@@besfrenjohny thank you sir..
Videos are good but your accent and way of speaking is so annoying..
if hindi fixed ang F, magiging unstable cya...but know that ir you are using Muller Breslau, only the support that you consider will be displaced by one unit...the other supports same position lang.
Thank you sir! from msu-iit hehe
you're welcome....same school ta...dugay na ko wa kabalik didto...
Thank you, Sir!
You are welcome!
Thank u kaayo sir kay clear jud kaayo imong pagpasabot.🙌🏽
thank you...
yes if you are using Macaulay...
Nice one sir
Thanks
Hello po Engr. Ask ko lang sa geometric gradient series, what if magkaiba po yung time frame ng interest and growth rate. Like for example po, annual growth rate, and yung interest rate is compounded monthly. What is interest rate, growth rate, and yung number of period po here?
convert the rate by comparing their effective rates....i have a sample problem in ordinary annuity where the mode of payment is not the same as the interest rate. just watch it for your reference.
Tnx sir now pa gyud ko kasabot aneh nga topic salamat heplful kaayu sir....
you are welcome...
Thanks for this sir. This is truly useful for me as an instructor of engineering economy as well.
You are welcome
there's a calculator technique for geometric gradient but i didn't include it in the video.
It's because the formula derived in arithmetic gradient is only for the present worth....so when you want to get the future amount, use the formula for compound interest....
The best gyud kaayo ka, sir. Thank you kaayo sir.
thank you sa pasakay....joke
Hello, Sir. In Sample Problem 2, how do you calculate TAB, TAD, and P using Caltech, especially since the value of P is not given? What should be inputted for P to obtain the final answer? I look forward to your response. Thank you, Sir!
After summing up forces, you have three equations with three unknowns with P as the 3rd variable . You can use MODE 5-2 to solve for the unknows. Just make sure to transpose the constants to the right side of the equation..
@@besfrenjohny nakuha na nako sir, thank you so much! I really loved your videos, sir and It really helps me with my SRB subject. Thank you!
@@lesvettemarie6652 you are welcome...pls help promote my channel to your classmates....thank you..
thank you, sir!
You are welcome!
good day sir ngano wala na gi solve ang reaction sa d po?
ky ang gi-require sa problem ky force sa members ra man...but you can do so by summing up forces at joint D.
when do we know we multipy by 1/3 and 2/3 is confusing
Are you referring to the centroid of a triangle or area of a parabolic spandrel and parabolic segment? If centroid, you must know the reference. If it's the area, then 1/3 for a spandrel and 2/3 for a segment.
@@besfrenjohny thank you I got it do you have videos too on superposition method?
@@EurekaQuest yes....you can find it in the playlist.
Why do you consider load 1 on the support that has been taken?
It's part of the procedure in analyzing indeterminate trusses using consistent deformation method.
Why is L going to be equal to 1?
Actually, you can put the actual value of L but since there is a condition the problem that the L/A ratio is equal to one, the value of A will be the same as L. So it's okay to put "1" for L and A since ma cancel ra.
Why is L going to be equal to 1?
Thank you Sir! Da best ang Neri's Style Labay2x🤙💪
thank you...
Ask lng po what if the support is fixed and we remove the fixed support what is the one unit load ?
what do you mean? there is no fixed support in trusses...
I thought roller support only resist vertical direction, I don't understand why your Reaction at A is horizontal sir
The correct answer is "For a roller support, the reaction is perpendicular to the surface". In the given problem, the surface is vertical, therefore the reaction is horizontal.
combined stresses unta sunod sir involving torsion. thank you sirrrr!!!
