Really? A few weeks ago, someone in a comment on one of the Facebook groups mentioned that this has been done a while back with a blue pke. He must have been talking to you. I’ve been trying to find you and see if there was a video.

I've tried to share the facebook post here on UA-cam for you but UA-cam keeps immediately deleting the Comment Its in the Ghostbusters Fans Worldwide Group but the post is from 2021 I can try to see if I can download the video and repost it as Idk if I have the original Anymore

@@daddydelicious Nah I had bought a very cheap Amazon Taser. I think it was like $5-10 lol Installed it into the Empty PKE I didn't even realize those High Voltage things were a thing till this video haha I was going to install Leds, repaint, ect on it But then it stopped charging and working. So I just tossed it in a drawer

It would have happened sooner if I got my two in the box earlier. Most people were getting them already and I was still waiting. Thanks! Well, if you were to ever decide to do it in the future, just a fair warning, every time we hit that button, more and more stuff would go out in the pke. I think voltage escaped through the wires going to the spikes and I also think the high voltage arc was messing with stuff. We initially started the electronics failure with the electricity back feeding into the wing LEDs. That was the first nail in the coffin. Then eventually more and more went bad every time we hit the button.

@ I had the same suspicions as your video progress. I was hoping to be wrong, but it just seems inevitable with its tight/confined space. Still, I applaud you guys for not giving up and following through. +1 for modding without fear 🤜🏼🤛🏼

He has a few videos from 6 years ago on his build. I copied most of his design, but making mine a little different. He uses quick disconnects and I decided not to do that, because I think quick disconnects are a bad idea for something like this. They would eventually start leaking as they wear out. I also added a pressure gauge. Used an Alice frame with a propane tank mount. Made a custom pickatinny rail on my power washer handle and added a foregrip. Used Permitex 56521 thread sealer because it’s fuel rated and holds up to 10,000 psi. Lastly, replaced all the gaskets and O-rings to nitrile, because they’re fuel safe and won’t deteriorate.

​@@daddydelicious Thanks for responding! I thought it was similar to TKOR one, I made one from the same plans he did at flamethrower plans. Yours is a really cool build! Spent some time on Amazon and have pretty much figured out all the parts you used except which pressure gauge. You got a new sub. Another Ghostbuster (I'm in the PNW) who builds flamethrowers. :)

@Henners The pressure gauge was just a random 2000 psi one that I found on there. Wasn’t specifically looking for anything special. Just one that was high psi and 3/8s NPT thread. The hardest part I had with the build, was figuring out all the fittings. I didn’t know Jack about pipe fittings before this. I have quite a few things to send back to Amazon. LOL. You built a flamethrower too? Awesome! Also, what is PNW? Is that a town abbreviation where you’re a Ghostbuster at? Thanks for the sub!

@@daddydelicious The PNW is Pacific North West. I'm in Seattle. I actually last year started a company making and selling them under the name Super Scorcher. I'm working on launching a ready to run package that is also based off these same plans. We sell a propane tank alice frame we call the proton Pack lol

@Henners I just went to your website. Awesome stuff. I love that you have your own version of not a flame thrower and it’s a new and improved design. And reasonably priced too, with custom options.

We were at the Havana Cabana. Not too expensive (for key west pricing) and the pool was fantastic. I would recommend staying there. It had a whole Cuban vibe and the staff was great.

To be fair, I’m an idiot.

We come down every year for a couple weeks. Gotta check it out
