I can only imagine what it would have been like to sit in on that recording session and listening to this being played! The piece is much bigger than the sum of the parts. I believe this piece already existed and was waiting to be found by these guys! Absolutely stunning! The last half is waaay bigger than the playing!

I hope she speaks to the security guards prior to the shows and lets them know people can stand. Frankly even if she does, you don't speak to people that way. That's not ok and i am surprised so many people supported it...well I guess not surprised since people suck. Security are just trying to do their job and keep people safe. It's even worse , speaking to someone like that in front of a cheering crowd , gross... I would never have thought she'd be like that but, I guess we all have our moments. I certainly do

I guess I’ve been lucky the times I’ve seen her. The fans were great. However, when she was opening for Alanis Morissette, her fans, well, one guy in particular, was raising all kinds of hell with his girlfriend, who had come to see Alanis and he was telling her Alanis was trash, and Tori was the only one that mattered -so he wanted to leave. (I mean truthfully when it comes down to talent, I personally agree with him but you know. ). One of those things you need to keep to yourself instead of causing a pain in the ass for everyone else around you

I've used to think that is a Latin poem or east Orthodox church hymn, once I found out about it's reverse nature and read the verses, it becomes extremely grim and dark to me, it scares me out to hear that. Yet I can't stop listening.

This is not Motorhead. It's not AC-DC. It's Tori Amos - why would you go to a Tori Amos show to act out ? I am surprised that somebody could possibly appreciate this kind of music and not choose to behave like an adult.

What gets me about this is the intentional back-masking in relation to the disease described in the lyrics. In the back-masked version (original) it begins with a solo performer and ends in a choir, but reversed it begins as a choir and progresses to a solo performer, audibly depicting the progression of the disease through a population.
