Concordo quindi con baptistebob1038: this is the best version of The piece. Saluti. G.
same for me.... it is a requiem... but there is so much beauty, hope and confidence in it. On really bad days this thing helps reflectig, espeacilly with a good bottle of wine.
Agreed. I sang this requiem as a tenor in 1981 and I would have loved to have been directed by him. The tempo is perfect, so many versions are too fast tempo.
@@Rabmcm32 in my opinion, not even close, if the video here on UA-cam of him conducting it is any measure. He lacks the passion of Karajan, he doesn’t really feel the piece and his connection to the choir and orchestra is broken by his use of the baton. Karajan’s whole body is performing the piece, and the hands and face give better direction than waving a baton around. You can watch how Karajan anticipates moments he needs to prompt certain key moments knowing his cast, he’s one with them, a part of the performance, not just a figurehead. Bohm is merely doing it by rote obligation. Also, the tempo is slow.
Just think about how it sounded in Mozart's brain...😮😮😮 The whole Requiem was in his head before he wrote it down... If I could reach just a glimpse of Mozart's genius, I gladly would eat his sh**....

Mozart - Österreichs Bester aller Zeiten

I hear it when people close to me have left. Today for the second time.

This version sounds like Mozart, the others sounds like a cover

Incredibly amazing!
GREAT KARAJAN, Danke !
Как я давно искал, именно это исполнение! Лучше нету❤
S'il est vrai que Dieu doit beaucoup à Bach, comme l'écrivait Cioran, Il en doit tout autant à Mozart 🙌

The best!
My favourite version.
Ну так себе исполнение в сравнении с другими записями того же произведения Караяна. Искусственно и натяжно. Как-то не по дару…

The best performance of Requiem ever. Karajan is insurmountable.

@@anthonymatthews3698I wondered if Karl Bohm is comparable .Perhaps not better though.

Thank God for putting us on this Earth after Mozart

Bonjour merci de me l’avoir envoyé ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bravo pour ce que vous faites ❤❤❤love ❤
If you enjoy the Mozart Requiem, please try the Brahms and Berlioz Requiems also.
Eterno Mozart, esta obra no tiene comparación. Un saludo a todos los amantes de la música SACRA desde Chile. 🙂
This is, by far, the best version. Thank you for uploading.
Thank you too!
Mozart and Karajan, made for eternity.

Always a lot of émotions in listening to this version. Tears are coming in front of such this quintessence of beauty between Mozart ans Karajan...
My favourite song of all time! Thanks, Mozart, for this composition, and thank you, Karajan, for this brilliant conducting!
Most of the Requiem was composed by Franz Sussmayr after Mozart died. Still an amazing work.
@@BUSeixas11 Lacrimossa is last from Mozart... i listening only to 7!
