Overtraining Research at WSU
There is a lot to learn about overtraining. The Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine is preparing to study recreationally trained people-rather than elite athletes-to learn more about the progression of overtraining and if certain people are more susceptible to it. This research is led by Associate Professor Hans Haverkamp, PhD.
