My name is Leonard Kakungu, fondly called Leo by family, friends and my fans. I am a recording artist and live performer based in Lusaka, Zambia. I founded the New Dawn musical band in 2017 and released my debut Live Music Album in December 2018 which is called New Dawn. It is a nine track live music project, with a rich sound that is being appreciated across the globe and by all age groups. All the songs were recorded at Blazer Studios except for The Cross, Track 4, recorded at Tyme lyne Studios.
Pastor Leo and the New Dawn Band performs live music at open air concerts, Conferences, Corporate Events, Social gatherings such as Weddings and Birthday Celebrations and in Churches. My vision is to transform lives through music.
