Natural State Trail Seekers
Приєднався 3 лют 2023
Camping, hiking, off road trail riding and seeking the beauty of Arkansas.
We love exploring the Natural State. Dispersed camping is the best and there's so many places to camp.
Hiking trails and searching for water falls and the scenic views are what makes Arkansas so special.
We're just getting started in the Ozarks but still have the rest of Arkansas to explore. We want to share this beautiful state with you!

ARKANSAS OZARKS CREEKSIDE CAMPING
Each time we explore the Arkansas Ozarks we are always looking for awesome places to camp and explore. This is the first spot we found the first time we started exploring the Ozarks a few years ago and we said then we'd get back there some day and camp and we finally did! The little creek we camped next to was beautiful and a blast to explore! Hiking up and down creeks is one of many adventures we love to do, you never know what you'll find! Taking in nature in The Natural State is one of our favorite ways to relax and once we have to head home we can't wait until our next adventure. It's never as often or as soon as we'd like but we'll go every chance we get!
Thank you to our SUBSCRIBERS and VIEWERS for watching and following us on our adventures and as always, we hope to see you on our next adventure!

Meeting a Legend of the Arkansas Ozarks Bub Pearson was the highlight of our Adventure on this trip to the Ozarks! We have seen and heard of Bub's Cabin for a good while and had planned for a long time to make it out there to see the cabin and hopefully meet Bub! We were so lucky the day we went, Bub was there and that is what made this trip extra special. Sometimes it's the "who" not the "what...

Just subbed, that was great! Glad you are enjoying the outdoors! Be safe and have fun! I am going up that way soon, may check this place out, Thanks!
Thank you!!! We appreciate it! It is absolutely beautiful, the entire area. There are other dispersed campsites near this one on Sulphur Rd. You'll have to check out Mill Hole Falls if you go! There's a campsite right there next to it. Stay safe out there!
Looks great! I need to make it up that way soon.
Sure is beautiful in the Arkansas Ozarks!

Thanks!!! It sure is! We love it out there!!! Thank you for watching and commenting. We appreciate you!
hi
Hi!
I live in Conway and love exploring with my fam. We take road trips through the mountains all the time. What lake was that at the over look.
We can't get enough of the Ozarks! There's so much to see there and we're always looking for new areas to explore. That is Shores Lake at the over look. That was our first time there and didn't know the over look was there until we drove by. An absolutely beautiful view!
@@naturalstatetrailseekers7927 awesome, I've never even heard of that one L O L. Thank you enjoying the channel.
@@WholeOtherLevelOutdoors Thank you! So glad you enjoy watching! We've been so busy this year but plan to be back out there soon for another adventure! We can't wait!
Could have been a bear trying to steal your pickin nic basket.
😆Absolutely!!!🤣
I live just south of the Ouchita National Forrest, close to Lake Greeson. There is no place like home.
Y'all should try kayaking the quachita and camping on the islands.
That would be awesome, we've talked about exploring there as well!
I live in Missouri and me and my husband along with family and friends ride in Arkansas. We love stopping at the Ozark Cafe. Have you been to the Oark Cafe?
We just can't get enough of the Ozarks! Finding the time to do it is the problem! The Oark Cafe is a must stop when we are in the area! In the episode "Arkansas Ozark Legend" I mention the Oark Cafe is a must if you're in the area and Bub's Cabin as well! Meeting Bub was the highlight of that camping trip!
Nice video my uncle had a beautiful spot in cane hill until he passed not sure what happened to it
We love the Ozarks, our favorite place to camp and explore, there's so much to see!
Cool! Glad I saw this. Happy to subscribe. I live on the AR/OK border.
Thank you so much for subscribing! We really appreciate you! We always look forward to getting out there in the Ozarks as much as possible!
So much Beauty here in Arkansas...few ever get to see it
Thank you for your comment! That is absolutely true! We have lived in Arkansas our entire life and really only started exploring the Ozarks 3 years ago! There's still so much we have yet to see. We look forward to many more adventures exploring this beautiful Natural State!
@@naturalstatetrailseekers7927 I've been here Southern and Northern Arkansas since 1978....I camp,fish,walk,climb...seeing NEW THINGS!!! Every time. Thank you! It was such a nice place to camp and relax!
I’m let down you didn’t share location
This is on Victor Rd. on the Illinois Bayou close to the bridge.
That's how nice spots get ruined.
Background music is supposed to be in the background, not blaring in my face.
Thanks for your comment! It's not when I'm editing, only once it uploads to youtube, not sure why it's that way.
Looked like a nice spot to camp there along the creek. We come across those rock walls. there in Arkansas as well. Nice relaxing around the campfire in the evenings thanks for taking us along on your adventure!
Thank you for watching! It really is relaxing camping next to water, love the sound of water flowing sitting around the campfire! There's so many awesome places to disperse camp in the Ozarks. The rock walls are all over the Ozarks. You see them along creeks way in the middle of nowhere but not only creeks, we've seen them in places it just makes you wonder why are they there. Some places makes no sense at all with the terrain and no signs of an old home place around. With all the work that goes into building one, it just amazes me... Thanks for commenting and we appreciate you watching!
Thanks for sharing your adventures! ❤
Love you Dena!!! Thanks for watching!!!
I’m glad I found you all. I am not native to Arkansas. I live on the air base in Jacksonville. I’ve camped a couple times at Tyler Bend and once in Hot Springs. I’m retired, so I want to do more tent/car camping. I’ve heard of dispersed camp but never tried it. I am still looking where to go, so I’m glad I ran into your channel now. Thanks.😊
Thank you for watching! Jacksonville is not too far from where we explore. It's usually a 5-6 hour trip for us to get there, we're from the Northeast side of the state. We just started a few years ago getting deep into the Ozarks and we've lived in Arkansas our entire lives! We are always looking for new dispersed campsites while we are out exploring and it really is the only way we like to camp! We just go prepared and get by just fine. No need for electricity or water hook up! We shower with creek water heated over the camp fire. Best shower ever!!! Most of where we explore is about 30 miles south of Jasper. If you haven't been there yet you have to check out Richland Creek Wilderness Area, Falling Water Rd. Absolutely amazing water falls and there's awesome dispersed campsites right on that road close to Falling Water Falls which is right on the road, no hiking required! Also, not far from there is Six Fingers Falls right on the road, Many other falls in that area too that you could hike to if you like to hike. You can see some of these Falls in our Show "Paradise in the Ozarks part 2" Check it out if you get the chance! Look it up online and it will show you how to get there! Thanks for your comment and hope you give dispersed camping a try! Hope you check out our next adventure showing later today!!!
I really enjoyed this video. I lived in Texas in the 80s and we used to go camping in the ozarks twice a year when my son was little. I miss that. Thanks for bringing this video to us!❤
Thank you so much! We were born and raised in Arkansas and really are just getting started on exploring the Ozark side. I have family there and have been going to the Ozarks my entire life but never getting off the main roads. Just started exploring a few years ago and we were just amazed how beautiful the Ozarks are and now we are hooked!!! Thank you so much for watching and we hope you will join us on our next adventure which will be showing tomorrow!!!
Thank you for watching! I replied to your comment but looks like it didn't go through??? So if this is a repeat, I apologize! We've lived in Arkansas our entire lives and just started really exploring a few years ago! There's so much we have yet to explore in the Ozarks and can't wait to get back over there every chance we get! We appreciate you and hope you check out our next adventure coming out later today! Thanks!!!
What kind of fish are in there?
Mostly small, perch, rock bass, haven’t seen anything big enough for a meal!
Love your channel! We live in northeast Arkansas as well. My wife and me loves traveling Arkansas back roads. We've been to most states and several other countries and love all those beautiful places we've experienced, but bury our bones in our beloved Arkansas!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, we appreciate you watching! We can’t get enough of the Ozarks. Being from NE Arkansas we don’t get to go as much as we’d like but definitely every chance we get we are there!!! And yes!…Arkansas has always and will always be our forever home! Thank you for commenting and hope you’ll check out our next adventure coming soon!
This is one of my favorite campsites in the Ozarks! I have camped here many times. I was entertained by a pair of river otters the last time I visited.
I was just looking trying to find it! We live north by about 3 hours and I really wanna visit this spot with my family. Any way you could share the coordinates?
@@james2000mn If the OP wishes to share, then they will do so. I don't think it's my place to do it.
That’s great! This place is absolutely paradise! We didn’t see any river otters while there but did get to see some deer upstream from the campsite! Thanks for commenting and hope you’ll check out our next adventure!
I have always loved getting out like this in Arkansas. I live in the Ozarks, too. I also like to go a little further south and check out the Ouachita's, too.
We plan to explore the Ouachita's too in the future! We honestly cannot get enough of the Ozarks, exploring and camping. We are amazed at the beauty we find everywhere we go! Thanks for your comment and we hope you enjoy our adventures!

Thank you so much for commenting! We only wish we could be out there more, we have so much more to see. There's just something about being out there that keeps us wanting to go back. Unfortunately, we have very busy lives that doesn't allow us to be out there as much as we'd like but we go every chance we get. Our goal this year is to slow down and be in nature more. Hope you enjoy our shows, we're hoping to be back in the Ozarks soon and we'll share that adventure as well on our channel. Hoping you are able to enjoy some nature right where you are since you're not able to get back out and do as you used to. Thanks for watching our show and we hope to bring some new to the channel in the near future!
We have a cabin near Jasper. We split our time between there and South Arkansas. We hike and ride our RZR all over. It's a wonderful state, but let's keep that a secret between us!
I grew up in Memphis. So I spent many a vacation or long weekend in the Ozarks. Love the Buffalo River area. Sylamore Creek. Mountain View. Loved the Beanfest. I always thought I would retire and moved there. But I found a place just outside Gatlinburg TN and across the street to the Great Smokies. So I might not make it back to the Ozarks in a while.
What time of the year was this trip?
Hi! I believe this was early to mid May.
Just happened across your channel. Really enjoy your videos. My wife and I are retired now. We plan on getting out to the Ozarks. Thank you for telling where you are at. Other channels are not so forth coming. What map app are you using? Maybe our paths will cross. Thanks again and keep exploring.
Hi! Our favorite map is Maprika, it tracks your location and lets you know what trails are open or closed. We'd totally be lost out there without it. It also shows waterfall locations, campgrounds etc. We prefer dispersed camping but it does not have any of those locations. Those we find by getting out and exploring, The other map is called Avenza, it's good, but doesn't have as much information. Some of these trails are off road so you would not want to take your vehicle there, if we are going to do that, we'll take our SXS and explore. You won't run out of places to see in the Ozarks, that's for sure! I would recommend these 2 books, (we don't leave home without them!) both by Tim Ernst: Arkansas Waterfalls second edition and Arkansas Nature Lover's Guidebook Hope this was helpful and hope y'all get out there soon to explore!
Thank you so much for the reply. I have a Jeep and a one ton van that I'm converting to 4wd. I never thought of taking my Pioneer until I saw your videos. Could set up base camp and explore with the side by side. We live in El Paso AR and are looking forward to getting out and about since we have nothing to tie us to the house. @@naturalstatetrailseekers7927
Thank you! So glad you happened across our channel! We would be out there exploring more often if "Life" would allow us to be but we get out as much as we can. Hope to be back out there soon. We are looking forward to our next adventure! Thanks so much for for watching!!! @@tommieiler2811

What does aired down mean?
Lowering the air pressure in the tires, it's a smoother ride on the rough roads!
I live in walking distance! It’s a great place so pretty! So many child hood memories
That's awesome you live so close, it's beautiful and was definitely worth the trip out to see it!

What creek is this?
In this show we were camping on the Illinois Bayou.
@@naturalstatetrailseekers7927 This is lovely. Where abouts is it?
@@PeterCrosbyIII This is on the Illinois Bayou just off of Victor Rd.
@@naturalstatetrailseekers7927 Thank you thank you. Looks very lovely.
If we wanted to go up there and ride for the day is there places to park your truck and trailer?
It really depends on the area you are wanting to ride. Most likely you would have to find a dispersed campsite and just park there. We only disperse camp so never had to worry with finding a place to park. We just ride from camp. There are paid camping areas but most do not allow side by sides in the camp area. We prefer dispersed camping so we can ride. Most of the places we have camped we found by exploring while riding. You can go to Mack's Pines and day park for a fee and that is a good central area to ride from.
Thank You
You are welcome!@@davidmyers6205
