Flula Borg is a brilliant comedian, and obviously plays up having an accent when he speaks English. And given his skill in using English, can fake an American accent as British and other European actors can. It’s cool seeing him speak at a normal, human pace in German, but I’m curious. If there are any folks in German speaking countries watching this, is Borg considered as funny there as he is in the US and Britain?
hes practically unknown in Germany, only people who are pretty deep into American pop culture know him. And hes already developed an American accent when hes speaking German, hes been living there for decades
I can confirm. No one has ever heard of the guy over here. I only became aware of him through Conan.
