To add, with the tower you could even HC that V can get cyberware again even if just a few given how viktors last phone message goes with casting doubt on what he told you at his office. I love the tower ending. I feel bad for the other romances too

@I_am_always_correct he really is. And he's so complex. You only get to see the most tender layers when you earn it. Johnny was his best friend. they were even business partners in owning the Grand Illusion club together. I theorize they went AWOL together to form Samurai because of his interview in the Rockerboy companion book from 2020

@catscravekrave I don't think it's worry of being destitute, but having to watch someone you love slowly die then return home without them. The loneliness. The abandonment. Having to see it and be totally helpless. Etc. Yes, cdpr really knows their stuff. It's no wonder, paweł sasko has a major also in psychology.

You're welcome! He has 3 computers and they don't all show the same messages. Plus there's additional messages the further you are in the story. There's a computer by his bed on the round table. There's a computer across the upstairs where the couch is by the circle ad holo. You have up kneel to open and read it. It's on the coffee table. This is the one with the lyrics. Then there's one outside if you go behind his house and follow the stairs down to where the waterfall features are. There's a computer on that bench by the reclining chairs.

I don't think I ever thought of opening those laptops and I'm on my third full playthrough right now. 😅 Plus, my first playthrough was waaay back before they added his wife to the story, so this is a lot. On my second I basically rushed forward to see what Kerry's romance is like since on my first I played as female. And now as a woman again. Is it possible to miss some messages if I don't check the laptops fast enough? I haven't reached his first mission yet on this replay, but if I don't check right away, will the messages be gone?

@youarebymyside well his ex wife was always there but they did add in what he says to johnny when he asks about the picture. The audio was out there though just not in the game. You won't miss any messages on his computers. They only add to them. Him talking to one person. Pretty amusing convo. Idk if I showed it in this video.

you're welcome. i can understand that. i am/was rather pissed at johnny for this even if i got it on another level. and then it upsets me V pretty much does the same... accidentally disappearing on Kerry in other endings.

@@rubyfool14 don't think she offed herself, a strong person like panam won't kill herself for anything, she will go down fighting. Her death could be unrelated to V (although, avoidable is V was there to have her back), but Mitch wanted to spare V some extra bad news and to offer some closure without breaking him entirely. The fact that leads me to believe that she did not kill herself is because this happens even with a non romanced Panam, as a female or male V. There would be no reason for Panam to kill herself over a friend, people don't do that, no matter how close that friend was. So yeah, prob not suicide, but something bad happened.

Prob whatever happened to Panam was unrelated to V, although if V had her back, she could've still be alive. Either way, Mitch wanted to spare V more bad news probably and to offer some closure, but it does not like suicide played a role. One doesn't kill himself over a friend who goes AWOL, especially in night city.
