Alcohol ink art tutorial easy diy art
Easy tutorial using alcohol inks on cardstock. For this video I used Adirondack alcohol inks and cardstock, along with rubbing alcohol for easy flow of the inks. You can do this project without alcohol, the result will just not flow/blend the colors ad much.

Love your painting
Thank you!
You need to think about placement of camera. Your hand hides your strokes.
Your hand hides the brush strokes
Yes it's blocking and it bothers me so much.
@@lindawalker6596 Then move the camera where it doesn't hide, simple!
NICE!
Beautiful that’s how I learned palm trees with fan brush from Bob Ross. ❤️👍🏻

Where did you buy your tile for so cheap? and what size of tile did you use?
I purchased the tiles from Home Depot. The are also available at other home improvement stores...Lowe's, etc.
Your tutorial is easy to understand. Thank you.
Thanks Shari!
Wonder if I can do this in combination with 3D resin painting.
I haven't tried 3D resin painting, but it sounds fun.
Where did u buy the tiles??
Home Depot...and I've seen them at other home improvement stores like Lowe's.
This is one of my favorite ideas! My mind is out of control with creative ideas...Thank you!
Very cool!! Thank you!
Thank you for your easy to understand tutorial! What type of ink do you use and where do you purchase it please?
+Nanci Strauss Hi, I used Tim Holtz Adirondack alcohol ink...I purchased from Hobby Lobby, but think you can get it from other places too..Michael's, etc..Thanks!
Hi. Thanks for the video. I tried this a few days ago and it came out pretty. Only thing is that it still isn't dry to the touch. I made my own alcohol ink using 91% alcohol and ink jet refill ink. Works very well on glossy paper (and dries fine). I did use a little bit of water on a q-tip in a few spots on the tile, maybe that is the problem? Any suggestions?
Hi! Thanks for this nice tutorial! I do mosaïc work and I was wondering if there was a way to do this kind of ink art on tiles and then find a way to make it permanent so that I can break the tile into pieces (mosaïc) and then put it outside. Is there someting I can put on the tile so that ink colors are permanent and does not go away with the rain??? Thank you very much!
Great tutorial. Which gloss sealer do you use...I tried Krylon but it made speckles all over my art.
+Jlou Cha I found that if I spayed too close, I would also get the speckles, but sometimes it does give it a neat look..I also let it dry a day or two before sealing them. I think I used either Aleena's or Americana gloss sealer.
What sealer do you use?
