Characteristics of the Emotionally Healthy
In a thought-provoking conversation, we delve into what it means to be emotionally healthy. Emotional health involves being regulated and moving emotions in a redemptive direction. Key characteristics include the proper processing of emotions like anger, distinguishing between anger at someone and anger for someone, and living in a community where feedback helps refine and grow one's emotional state. Emotional health is about transforming negative emotions into positive actions that benefit oneself and others.
5 Lesson Points:
1. Regulation and Direction of Emotions: Being emotionally healthy means having regulated emotions that move towards good, such as transforming anger into a force for justice and positive change.
2. Proper Processing of Anger: Understand that anger itself is not inherently bad. Instead of rushing through it, take time to process anger in a constructive manner, turning it into an emotion that drives positive actions.
3. Community and Feedback: Emotional health thrives in a supportive community where continuous feedback helps refine one’s emotions. Honest feedback helps identify and correct negative emotional patterns.
4. Transformative Emotional Responses: Shift from being angry at someone to being angry for someone. This means using your emotions to support and advocate for others rather than letting anger drive a wedge between you.
5. Understanding Intent vs. Impact: Recognize that good intentions can sometimes come across negatively. Being open to understanding the impact of your emotions and actions on others is crucial for emotional growth and health.

I really think that if someone is this centered with religion they really need to be a pastor. His calling isn't being a morning radio DJ being this sanctified. His calling is spreading the word, being a missionary, teaching the word to people. He is in the wrong business. that's what he hasn't realized. He is almost trying to live both worlds.

To Scott, who it seems dropped out. i wasn't ignoring your comment but as a Jew I follow the eternal Torah, which forbids being on a computer on the Sabbath. If you look at Zach 12:10, 11, 12 and 13 and 14 it is obvious it does not refer to Jesus: I will pour upon the house of David . . and they shall ourn for him, etc There was no spiritu of "grace and supplication" and certainly no "mourning" in Jerusalem for him. On the contrary, since acc. to gospels, Jews encouraged the cricifiction, there should hgave nbeen great rejoicing! Isaiah 48 has no relevance to J. If you mean a proof to false Trinity, then you should believe od has SIX parts, not three, becuase He's refrrered to as "Lord of Hosts" (v. 2), the Lord (14), the Lor God (16) Spirit (16) the Redeemer ( 17) and "the holy of Israel (17). Even you, however, dont believe in a six-part God. There are many more refutations as well of this false claim that the verses here refer to Jesus.

Jesus did not fulfill any of the Scriptural requirements for being Messaih. He did not build the Temple, did not lead the Jews back to Israel, certainly did not bring world peace, as the world has been steeped in much greater violence since he came on the scene, and he did not even descend from the house of David (since you claim his father is God; lol, who surely does not come from David), so him being the Messiah is completely ludicrous.

A failure to recognize the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34. New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the first three questions below? Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. God is not now a "racist". He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by the blood of Jesus at Calvary. Paul warned against using "genealogies" in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Isa. 2:4 is a Messianic prophecy. It says "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." This did not happen while Jesus (if he even existed as portrayed in the NT) was alive nor at anytime afterwards. Thus the Jews are still waiting for the Messiah.

A fantastic scholarly book for all Christians to read, and consider is, The Conflict Between the Church and the Synagogue: A Study in the Origins of Antisemitism, by James Williams Parkes For gentile Christians, regarding the traditional Jewish concepts surrounding "messiah", consider comparing and contrasting the information presented in this video with an Orthodox Jewish perspective by listening to UA-cam videos by Rabbi Tovia Singer, and Jews For Judaism Canada. And then to understand the many contradictions within the Tanakh (aka: Hebrew Scriptures), and the New Testament, the following channels by, Dan McClellan, Paulogia, Bart Ehrman, and Mindshift, will challenge you to dig much deeper. For example: - Is it moral for Jewish slave owners to severely beat a non-Jewish slave as long as the slave does not die within 1 or 2 days, because the God of Israel is fine with that, (Exodus 21:20-21)? - If the prophecies about the rebuilding of the third Temple come true, will Jews be able to own non-Jews (Gentiles) in perpetuity again, (Lev 25:44-46)? - Who killed the Philistine giant, Goliath? Was it, 1) Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite, (2 Samuel 21:19), or was it 2) David, (1 Samuel 17:44-51)? - Did David kill Goliath with a stone from his sling, (1 Sam 17:50), or with the sword of Goliath, (1 Sam 17:51)? - Note: The JPS Tanach, The King James Bible, and the New American Standard 1995, say it was Elhanan who killed Goliath in 2 Samuel 21:19. However, other Christian translators spotted the problem, and changed the verse to read, "the brother of Goliath was killed." So if you believe in "inerrancy of the bible" then you have a problem. - Additionally 1 Chronicles 20:5 states, “And Elhanan son of Jair killed Lahmi, the brother of Goliath the Gittite." - Did "the Exodus" actually happen? What archeological evidence, if any, supports the biblical narrative? - Should women always keep their heads covered when praying, (1 Cor 11:5-16)? - Should women always keep silent in church, and only seek answers from their husbands at home, (1 Cor 14:34-35)? - Why do most Christians not obey the New Testament and handle snakes, drink deadly poisons, and go to hospitals to heal the sick so that they recover, as a demonstration of faith, (Mark 16:15-18)? And finally, if the bible could "speak for itself", then why is there several different forms of Judaism, or thousands of variations of Christianity?

I agree. Something must’ve gone wrong in Jewish religious philosophy. As a Muslim, we’re waiting for Jesus the son of Mary’s return. Christian’s are waiting for his return too. So why is that Jew’s Messiah is a different person? It’s not; they’re mistaken. There is only one Messiah for all three Ibrahimic religions, and that person is prophet Jesus the son of Mary PBUH

@@BlueDef811 There is no contradiction between Torah and Yeshua HaMashiach. If Yeshua had contradicted Torah and done away with it, as many Christian belief systems claim, He would have invalidated Himself as Mashiach. This is why the religious leaders of Yeshua's day questioned Him incessantly: they wanted to see if He was going to contradict Torah, which is the very intellect, the very mind of Adonai written down as codified instruction for how to live as a decent human being and the redeemed life. I hope that answers your question.

Civilized world societies are getting extremely sick and tired of endless global Islamic terrorism; the despicable, deprave and savage acts of IS, ISIS, ISIL, IS-K, Al Qaeda, Taliban, Boko Haram, Muslim Brotherhood, Jaish e Muhammad, Lashkar e Taiba, Lashkar e Omar@LeO, Hizb ul Mujahideen, Hizb ul Tahrir, Hizb ul Ahrar, Abdullah Azam Brigade, Lashkar e Jhangvi, Lashkar e Jabbar, Harkat ul Ansar, Asbat al Ansar, Harkat ul Mujahideen, Jaish e Islam, Lashkar e Islami, Tehreek e Islami, Muslim Janbaz Force, Ikhwan ul Mujahideen, Sunni Tehreek, Harakat Sawa'd Misr, Ansarul Islam, Ahrar ul Hind, Al Badr, Jamiat ul Mujahideen, ISIS-DRC, ISIS Mozambique, ISIS in the Greater Sahara, ISIS West Africa, ISIS Libya, ISIS Sinai Province, ISIL Sinai Province, ISIS Bangladesh, ISIS Philippines, Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent AQIS, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, Hamas, Abu Sayyaf, Jema'ah Islamiyah to name just a few that massacre in cold blood in the name of islamic allah, muhammad and islam. These are the true servants of satan cloak and garb as propagating divine messages, when they are in fact the Slaves of satan who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. What is even more sickening is that these deprave and savage terrorists continue to enjoy all round support from worldwide muslims of all walks of life. And the unspeakable, heinous crime perpetrated by these terrorist groups are either condoned, sanctioned or supported by authorithies in islamic countries. Nothing can be more deprave and diabolical than this. PERIOD OUR CIVILIZED WORLD MUST NOT BE DESTROYED BY ISLAM OR ISLAMIST BUT MUST BE DEFENDED AGAINST THESE DESTRUCTIVE FORCES ACTIVELY AT WORK

There are thousands of jewish students that are part of the protests on the unuversity campuses spread around the USA, Europe, Canada and Australia. Against the genocide in Israels created concentration camp Gaza with massmurder, mass severe injuries and mass forced starvation on hundreds of thousands of human beeings in the concentration camp Gaza. The bombs on a the concentration camp are as equal as 3 Nagazaki nuclear bombs on a strip of land that is 45 km long and 6 km wide were 2.3 million civilans are trapped in the concentration camp. "Jewish voice for Peace" are a movement that are against the genocide and a new Holocaust created in Gaza by Israel. This Rabbi is just a full on genocidal Zionist and full of zionist etno nationalism. Very similar to the nazist etno nationalism. That is inspired by how effective the nazists were in exterminating a people.

I don't think most of these college brats came into these protests with hatred of Jews. My big concern is thats what they're taking away from them though. They have every right to hate war and protest it. Where it crosses the line is the genocide blood libel claim. To accept it you also have to accept that Jewish mothers in a democracy with a conscript army would accept their sons lives being risked in Gaza for anything less than necessity.
