Initial D Arcade Stage 8 Infinity | Tilt Steering Test
G-Sensor/Gyroscope Tilt Steering using Monect PC Remote App that lets you use your Phone as a controller device for your PC within the same WiFi network (Wireless). This method is really fun and easy to control. However, there is a delay of very few microseconds (Not in the video cuz I synced it with actual response time).
Tbh, I would still prefer Mouse Steering over this because of real-time response. Also, Tilt Controls couldn't beat my Tsubaki Time Attack (w/Mouse).

You don't need analog gas and brake on D8. Make it an button because half brake is only for WR run in akina lake.

@@jameston64 English patch is available in the Discord server of IDPLAYERS 2.0 and for mouse steering you can use vjoy+UCR.ahk program. How make the emulator do full screen ?
@@amompamomp7252 Go to Game Settings and disable Windowed Mode. Also, go to "InitialD.ini" file located in the folder same as the redump file and edit it's fullscreen value from 0 to 1 "fullscreen = 1"

@@azel8503Would you be able to share it at some point? It would have been super handy when I played Virtua Racing with mouse steering, but that visual guide is probably what I'd need to be able to control myself better in Daytona USA 2 and other games I had wanted to try it with (as long as I don't have a controller with a quality analog stick, cause I don't)
@@ArcadeStriker that slider only represents x-axis movement of the vjoy program. Maybe I will share the code in a pastebin or ahk forum but idk how to. Plus, it will require a new variables cuz every game will have different cars with different wheel rotation so will need to make it flexible via creating variables for changing such values.

it's always the drift games that has good grip physics
I can imagine the pain of mouse + kb in a simracer like this - I've played Virtua Racing like that too and its tough to keep precise lines without overshooting or undershooting when its up to ya wrist to keep the steering steady. Truly an osu moment...

@@azel8503 the idea of racing with input delay/heavy lag makes me shiver - I'm sorry for your loss (I haven't ever tried Asseto Corsa at all to know how it feels, but a reason why I haven't is because it would also roast my computer)
@@ArcadeStriker yep ! But it's not like Mouse&Keyboard controls are bad. You can pretty much smoke wheel drivers with mouse n keyboard but it does require more skills. I don't have problem with mouse controls but I only need an analog input for throttle and brakes cuz braking without ABS is hell in Keyboard.

@@broforcee nah ! It's not necessary tho. I played osu and achieved no improvement in my Valorant aiming skills but eventually got better by just playing it. Similarly you can get better just by starting it Vanila because physics is the important stuff you have to adapt in this game
