Did you have to use wheel spacers for the rear? I have an 89 C1500 and I'm wanting to put some 295 50r 15s in the rear. I'm making kind of a muscle truck. Right now it just has 265 70r 15s in the rear so I'm hoping the 295s won't be too wide.
@@Sc0teeBe318 the 295s will fit . In this video I was running 1” spacers to give it that wide rear look. I am running 295 50 r15s all around and everything is good no rubbing issues . Good luck with your build.
@Quijas707 thanks! Would 295s fit in the front without the spacers or will you need spacers to keep it from rubbing when you turn?
@@Sc0teeBe318 I am not running spacers on the front. If your wheel has the right offset they should fit with no problem.

How did you do the rear end? I notice the rear step delete and other stuff done to the back end.
@@patrickb2635 I shaved the rear steps and molded a roll pan . It was a kit that used to be sold online but got discontinued. I could probably make a mold out of it and sell it if enough people are interested.
The good old lid flip… 😅 Airaid intake will make your truck much better…
This truck deserves a cold air intake. It’ll help the engine run better and give you more hp and torque… pair it with a throttle body spacer and some headers and that’s all you need.

@deadass9493 some rubbing but no so bad only on big dips on the road . Wear is even on all tires no issues.
Ik your description says 5/7 but I just read all comments and you say it’s a 3/4 4/4 5/6. In different comments At this point I am so confused haha. What drop do you have in the video with the 295/50 setup. And also what kit did you go with. Belltech and Mc gaughys is what I see to be the best. Thanks
Thanks for reading all the comments 👍🏼 it’s about time someone pays attention . The truck has gone through different drops and lifts depending on the way I feel comfortable. In this video it has a 5-6 . It was before the airbags were installed and the brand is mc gaughys .

At this point it was lowered 3 inches on the front and airbags on the rear with 1 inch spacers on the rear with 295-55 r15 tires

If you get the right offset it shouldn’t rub . Handles good

I have 31x10 nd bought a flip kit nd springs will I need to down size the tires or am I good?
Just use a tape measure to find out how much your truck will drop . That will give you an idea if your tires will rub

They are rolled but not because of the wheel set up it has now . I was running 22s before and had them rolled for them.
