Flower can be more than just a nostalgic time for us. Consider the "story" of Flower - It's about a simple time, starting out small, traveling through life and growing up, having big exciting crescendos, having daunting lows that we eventually make it through OK. Life, and Flower, are adventures through time. We look back on memories and appreciate the time we had, but we continue forward and create more memories as we go (whether good or bad). We are here on a ride - a flowery, windy, atmospheric, chaotic ride - just like our Flower adventure when we played. We all strive to have a flower petal with us in the end.

This game was you discovering an emotional journey you never knew you needed so much. 10+ years later and here I am almost 30 sitting in bed filled with heartfelt nostalgia.

oh man, remember playing this (along with other games like fat princess, gow 3 demo, critter crunch, etc) when i was 5 - 7 years old. beautiful game with equally beautiful music. the motion controls were so fun!

Back when I was little, My dad played constantly on his PS3 on an old game called "War Hawk" and "Ace Combat". He'd share it with me and my brother with our own games. That alone has some memories, from me nailing the mic Guitar Hero with my Dad and Bro on guitars, LittleBigPlanet's 1, 2, and even 3, and even this strange little title called "Eyepet". But it was when I got to be alone that the memories stuck even stronger... This Game. Dear god this fucking game. I spent HOURS on this game, flying around, imagining things, narrating the story. This game held so much value to me, this game made me admire nature everytime I glanced to a flower, a tree. I'm tempted to go back one more time again. I think I might.

I always come back to this sound track and it soothes me a lot I remember playing this on my ps3 I think and just thinking late at night all alone I was like 18-19 and I would just fly around and relax..

It's always so relaxing when I hear it... When I saw it was so sunny... I knew it was a perfect time to hear the flower ost. It's also spring and it's the perfect season for the game. I took a break from flower... For a few years most likely. But then I started playing it again a month ago :) I will definitely loop this and relax.

I woke up sick this morning and called out from work and wanted to hear calm music and remember this games music I remember playing this game for hours back in 2009 and just thinking WOW WHAT A SIMPLER TIME THAT WAS! I'm 30 now everything seems to get more elaborate and pile up the older you get don't rush growing up I miss being young I miss spending time hours on end with mom and dad😢 a lot of things have changed in the last 14 years.

This brings back some tender memories. Back when I was young and hopeful. It makes me sad...but it comforts me, too.

Can someone remind where ive heard the melody from the maori bit? Its some type of hymn?

The theme of the Ottoman Empire is reminiscent of the theme of England from the fifth part.
