    How did you Connect the stock fans to the mobo?

    • @FullTowerTV
      @FullTowerTV 8 днів тому

      Hey, you don't need to. The fans are connected one to each other and all you need is to plug the SATA cable that is coming out from one of them. For reference - ibb.co/xqNsFG1y (It's very similar to a cable that you will use to connect a hard drive for example). Hope that helps let me know if you need any further help.

    I have a question, do I necessarily have to download the version that says "support new series 5000" (I'm getting a 5600x) or can I download the most recent version? Does it also support the 5000 series? Thanks!!

    • @FullTowerTV
      @FullTowerTV 19 днів тому

      It's always best to download the most recent version of bios. Just make sure NOT to download a *beta* version (those usually cause problems). And yes, each bios version has the support for everything that was prior to that. (unless they wanted to remove a feature that was causing unwanted behaviors but platform support always stays)

    My io shield has tabs between the ports, should i let those be? or should i bend them so that they don’t touch the metal between the ports?

    • @FullTowerTV

    Bro now ELIT and FLOW cost the same 80$, what would you rather to chose for the same price?

    • @FullTowerTV
      @FullTowerTV 22 дні тому

      The Elite looks nicer but has some more weight to it due to the front tempered glass panel. It is also a little bit louder and the performance in the Flow will be better in my opinion. I would recommend trying and getting the FLOW RGB version if it's at a similar price as you get an extra fan which is nice.

      Unfortunately, you cannot. The RGB in this case is controlled by the button at the top (next to the power button). There is an ARGB cable you can connect to the motherboard which should give you the ability to control it with software but it is very unstable and causes a lot of problems (talking from experience of mine and other people who have this case and contacted me regarding having problems with it).

      If you are talking about the model with 2 fans, no problem. Even the 3-fan model can fit in as long as it is not more than 30cm in length. You can check the length of the card in the specifications; usually, they will mention it in mm, so for example, 250 mm is 25cm.

    • @FullTowerTV
      @FullTowerTV 3 місяці тому

      Great question! If you pause the video at around minute 21:58 you can see on the box that it can support a top 120/240mm radiator but with a RAM clearance of less than 32mm: ibb.co/YX1ThYy So, if the 240mm you want to use is not too thick and your RAM is low profile - it should be okay. But, my advice is to avoid putting a radiator on top.

    • @FullTowerTV
      @FullTowerTV 4 місяці тому

      @@FullTowerTV bro I want to change the fans and use a hub. But I think There is not enough space in the back to install the hub. Or if I use the hub at bottom the fans wire won't reach at the bottom to the hub. What should I do now? And another thing I want to use argb psu 24 pin extension cable but I'm afraid the cable management won't be possible. What do you think should I use an extension?

    • @FullTowerTV
      @FullTowerTV 4 місяці тому

      @@badluckgamer840 In my experience - the 24-pin ARGB cables are very finicky and not reliable at all. I know it looks cool but they usually break pretty fast and it will make a mess in terms of cable management. So my recommendation will be not to use them at all. As for the fans: you can use a splitter/fan extension instead of a hub (or connect a splitter/extension to the hub). It won't be pretty but will get the job done. Some examples (you can find cheaper ones on ali express or something, these are just to give you an idea of what to look for): amzn.to/4eRc3JY amzn.to/3BzQqzv amzn.to/3XNbjyk amzn.to/3XY2Fgy

    Hi Rafael, I have aquestion for you. I recently bought an Antec X61 Elite, I agree, it is not the best case I've ever had but its mine now. Thesre are a couple of wires that I have no idea where they go and maybe you could share a light on this. I 'm not very techie so I have to stumble by as best as possible. The first is a a small three holed connector, actually its a 2 hole, a space and anothe hole connector that seems like a fan cnnector (maybe an RGB)? I'm not sure where this goes, there is a 2 plus 1 pin connector on my motherboard but the pins don't seem to fit. I have a ASUS X99-M-WS and the area that I'm talking about is in the lower left hand corner of the motherboard, right above where the HD Audio connector is. The second is a 4 pin connector that seems to be daisy-chained to other connectors including one that looks like a SATA flat connector, I don't know if it could be a connector that goes to an SSD or a hardrive. I wish I could attach a few pictures but I'm not that verse on attiching pictures to postings yet. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

      Hey 👋 First of all, thank you for leaving a comment on my video - You are very much welcome here! As for the connectors - the ax61 Elite could be a bit tricky. The first cable you talked about - is an RGB connector or to be more precise- an ARGB connector. It looks something like this: imgur.com/a/AhIGAuN This cable is being used to control the lights of the fans through the motherboard. Unfortunately, the x99 motherboard doesn't have this connector because ARGB was invented later if I remember correctly but, either way - I wouldn't recommend you to plug that connector even if you had an ARGB connector on your motherboard. In my testing, I noticed very weird behavior when plugging it into the motherboard. With that said, the case has another option to control the lights (which is the preferred way in my opinion) and that is through what is supposed to be the reset button (See picture: imgur.com/a/lZfWxIv ) It means that instead of a reset button, each time you press it, it will change lights and you can choose your desired color. Now, for that to work: You need to plug that second SATA cable you talked about, into a SATA connector on your POWER SUPPLY. I know it looks like a connector you plug into a hard drive but if you take a look closely 👀 you will notice that it is a male connector and not a female. Exactly like in your hard drive. This means you plug a female connector into it from the power supply as you would for a hard drive. That plug will supply power to the INTERNAL ARGB HUB inside the case and will allow you to change colors using the reset button. I hope that is understandable, but if you still find it hard to get it to work - please contact me on a private message on any of my socials: @fulltowertv on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/TikTok/you name it, and we can keep discussing it there. 😊
