Great video, looking forward to binge watching the whole playthrough. Question though, why does your voice get cut off from time to time?
My mic settings weren’t perfect for the first few episodes. It will get better after like episode 3 or 4 when I got my settings the way I wanted

It still nets you 1000 which is something I guess
Just got to this part. The overworld theme of Lexendria is twisted as hell. If you listen to it after listening to the theme of Remnant Island in the first few chapters, you will see what I mean.
What a wonderful channel. A full, high quality playthrough, of my favorite Tales game. Played the ever living crap out of this. Still got my original copy from 2008.

While looking for one of your videos of Tales of Symphonia, I stumbled upon this game. Not watched it as I prefer to play first and then search for help. The play style reminded me of Y's, so I quickly bought the game.

I saw your highest combo was 123. I've only managed a measly 35, lol. Initially I was the same level at 62, and that first boss fight before Yggdrasil kicked my arse, so I figured I should just run in and out of the first floor of Tower lf Salvation. I'm a bit stuck really as I can't escape from this dungeon. Oh well.
I've got to this stage, then discovered this T and S skill. Half my skills are unlearnt because I was type S or so. Game is really starting to annoy me now. I feel I'm now rather weak having 'forgotten' my skills, to learn the others. I just feel my whole character set-up is a complete mess.
Yeah the Type S and T can be annoying but you can always check your Ex Skills and make them fit the type you want. There’s also two accessories you can equip to make you be one type of the other
Trails of Mana, Final fantasy 10 and Tales of Arise hell yea!

Any way to stop the stupid woman falling over? I keep trying to steal a bottle, but she just keels over instead, then the mobs attack her. It's all very frustrating.
There’s an ex skill you can make with her that guarantees you to steal. She falls over because she’s failing to steal
Well it took a few goes. Got 20 bottles and by golly, 200k gald! Now the question is, how much gald shall I make, lol. Thanks for the gald tip.
About that Repairing Luin FAR enough + buying most of the joke weapons takes at least 500,000 gald another 125,000 to convert to 250 Tokens to BUY Genis' Devils arm weapon + some more gauld at least 300,000 to buy 20 copies of all the healing items and have enough for the arena battles. So in total farm at least 1.2 MILLION of it.

The best part of the pixel remasters is being able to have it physically on the shelf in one cart.
Great review! I agree with most of your points. I think your final score is just about right, and I agree that the story and characters aren't much interesting. But like you, I give the game a little bit of a pass for being the first in the series. I actually do not find the game too easy, though - but I also wasn't playing the pixel remaster with 4x exp. I cheated with a Game Shark on the PlayStation port in Final Fantasy Origins, instead, which helped make what had always been a punishingly difficult game to me before beatable. And as for music: I'm a musician, so music is very important to me, but I still agree with your thoughts that Final Fantasy scores are always excellent, but this one is just ok - mostly because it was a Famicom/NES game.
I Remember buying an Xbox 360 back in 2008 just play this game. 😂

Dude I was level 110 and the wisemen were still some of the hardest bosses in the game(secret bosses not included)
Yeah man they were no joke. I felt like I had good equipment and stuff but still struggled so much
I know its late to the party but an earing of readiness on a reserve character would solve the back attack problem
I learned that during my 2nd Claude playthrough I’m doing on my own time to learn new things

Yeah it’s a big issue I had. Not like a big big deal but when you lose your bonus gauge it’s awful
