Great video! So informative and entertaining as well! Good work Sergey, hope to see more videos from you :)
Thanks a lot!
What was the surf camp that you went with? Those waves in that location looks excellent for beginners. Do you have the website for the surf camp? Great honesty in the video, amazing progression so fast.
The surf camp was with "Windy Sun" Surf School in Kuta. Yes, the waves are indeed great for beginners-and not just for them! Thanks a lot for watching 🤙
Friend your front foot (and back foot too) should be 90 degree to the rail it will help you stabilise and control the board . That is what was holding you back. Good luck
Thanks for the tip!
Спасибо, Бро! Интересно и познавательно!)
Благодарю 🌊
I am 66 and just did a dream surf camp at Lombok 2 weeks ago for 8 days. I can relate to your feelings but I shall be there or Khao Lak next. I guess this old dog can still learn a few new tricks, and yes, paddling is the most painful and difficult part too.
Wow, thanks for sharing your experience! Regarding paddling, I’ve realized that after 3-4 weeks of surfing, the body adapts to the paddling, and it becomes much easier. Maybe it will be much simpler next time for you too 🌊
Good video that I will recommend to many people that are thinking about learning to surf. In the video you have one mighty flaw though on your take off: you grab the board on the side to push up, they should be flat under your chest when going into Cobra, the further back under your chest the more angle you create and therefore more space to get your front leg under and up front. When you grab on the side and push up there's an unavoidable unbalance as you push harder on one side than the other. Other than that I am truly impressed by your pop-up and the way you went about practising it. This video is 7 months old now so you probably will have corrected this anyways and are now surfin those mighty overhead waves of Bali.
Thank you for watching and for your detailed comment. I often struggled with grabbing the board on the sides during takeoff instead of keeping my hands flat under my chest, and I tend to forget this in the moment. Your advice is very helpful, and I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for your support!
Which camp exactly did you visit? I am going in 2 weeks to Bali!
The surf camp is called Windy Sun, and it's located in Kuta. Have a great trip 🤙
Love your video❤ Thankyou 🎉
Thanks for watching!
Very good video, my friend. I'm about to take the same journey to Padang Padang and this was very helpful!😀
I'm glad this video was helpful. I wish you good luck on your journey. Padang Padang is awesome, maybe I'll surf there one day too!
As long as Humans are using AI to create films it isnt an AI future and hopefully that will always be the case . Its looks that way for the timebeing and i find the trick is not asking AI but how to ask AI or what way you prompt a particular AI application as the slightest variation changes the concept completely.... so communication is key .... Very interesting video 👍
Agreed with you. Thanks for your comment
What an experience!!
Thanks a lot!
well done!!! seeing your progress is so inspiring! I've only surfed a few times in Bali & Malaysia so I'm still very much a beginner but boy do I love this sport 🥹 always dreaming about the next surf trip. it's cool to see your development in just 20 days at surf camp! I hope I'll improve just as much on the next trip 🏄🏻🌊
Thanks a lot! You'll definitely improve on the next trip. See you in the lineup 🌊
Получилось исчерпывающее видео к вопросу о том, как можно ли научиться серфить за короткий отпуск. Удачи и увидимся на лайнапе 😊
Благодарю)
wow, you guys even got the uniforms
Thanks. And yes, the uniforms also serve as sun protection
@@Sergey__Ushakov I lived by the seaside, and have been learning surfing for more than 10 years , but the days I surfed added up no more than yours, haha. The waves here is not suitable, I only surfed when I was on vocation in SE
Nice that you've surfed in SE. Wishing you more surf days 🤙
Don't give up! We've all been there. Surfing is hard but rewarding once you get it! Watch "Step into liquid" Shaka
I always have been interested in AI, but never really believed that it can replace human beings ini every aspect of work. Your video proves my point. Still, it's interesing to see that developers don't lose their intention to give us something new. And yeah, text ai are really good enough nowadays to simplify some dull text work, that's great. Thank you for investigation
Thanks for watching
Good video it looks easy until you are in the water. You did very well I hope you surfing becomes a part of your life
Thanks a lot I had been surfing for a several months, I hope to return to the ocean this year
Hi Sergey, thank for video, quite cruel attitude for those who do not obey the rules of etiquette)). I'm going to visit Bali in August this year, to learn surfing, I'm a beginner just had very first basics lesson in Thailand. Deciding going Solo and hire tutor for 1:1 lesson on a beach or have Surfcamp which could probably be more expensive. What would you recommend? If you recommend Surfcamp which one you would prefer? .
Hi, thank you for your comment) Indeed, a surf camp or lessons at a surf school will be more expensive than lessons on the beach with locals. If your goal is just to try it out and have fun, I think one lesson with an instructor on the beach should be enough. But if you want to learn to surf, I definitely recommend going to a school. You don't necessarily have to buy a surf camp package; you can just buy a lesson at any surf school that you like. I've only been to one school, Windy Sun, so I can't compare it to others in terms of whether it's better or worse, but I liked it.
@@Sergey__Ushakov Thanks a lot! Lessons at surf school is a great option didn’t know that’s possible!
Good luck in your surfing adventure
Which camp is this?
it is Windy Sun
I think you can practice turn posture using surfskate, btw what is your surfcamp? Is it good?
I tried to practice turning with a surf skate, and it really helped, after every surf skate session I felt progress
I was at a surf camp from windy sun, I liked it, but my opinion is that it's better to go to a surf camp in Bali in the summer season
@@Sergey__Ushakov yes, i could not agree more, it help me understand how things work too.
@@Sergey__Ushakov thanks happy surfing see you in bali 😉
Thank you too, see you
