I ran this youth defense. However a 3 tech tackle is begging to be trapped. Teams will also spread you out and make you play your outside backers play in space.
Fantastic work. How did your boy’s career turn out?
Thank you. He is a Senior In HS and a very good blocker at TE!
Y'town coming off Nat. Champ. in '94.
This taught my son good
Did I coach your son?
Hey I followed you on Twitter. Are you able to point me to some film I could possibly use about the Wing-T in an upcoming video? These plays are amazing to see. Love how they are categorized with the play name. Perfect.
I have a few Tubby Raymond vids from a clinic I have that covers the Delaware passing & run game in two separate vids. See below.

Thanks for posting this @WingTSally
No one could cover Moss.Randy Moss was the most dominant Wr I ever witnessed playing college football
Without a doubt...the GOAT!
100 veiws 8 mire to go
Does anyone know where to find video of the Youngstown shootout?
I was at this game! Thanks for bringing back some good memories with your content!
Sounds like Dusty Rhodes is calling commentary on this one.
Difference was one man, a testament to the greatness of Moss.
Um...I'll agree he was the best player in the stadium. However, that Marshall team was loaded. Two 1,000-yd rushers, OL that later played in the NFL. Shoot, the punter played 10 years in the NFL. MOSS was the GOAT! But that is the best FCS team ever...IMO. #GoHerd.
The good old days
It was my first year as a defensive coordinator and those who doubt this I ran a variation of this and our kids won district! 8-0 38 points aloud all year 4.75 points per game 5 shutouts Thanks to this channel for helping me deciding what I wanted to do when I started working on our defense this summer!
Do you have the 1994 and 1996 Delaware games at Maine? Thanks for posting.

Very sound. Your kids know what you want from them.
Love what your doing would love to see a little more elbows tight arm extension but awesome advice for parents trying to teach their kids
As they get older (13U) I would suggest expanding to elbows tight and thumbs up. IMO younger kids are not developed enough yet...
@@wingtsally649 we like to see fundamentals which is what is being taught here I just feel kids are never to young to be taught anything if there picking up what your putting down show them more these kids who want to learn it will be that much further ahead at the middle school and high school level
Should lost 94 whooped dat ass go dutch
This Delaware team beat Maine 61-0. What a thrashing.
This helps a lot thank u
Wish we had a replay
Is Gut what they call G-Down?
The 20 series gut is similar to the 20 series GT. Backfield action looks like buck sweep. Front side G pulls to influence (like buck sweep), back side G pulls and Guts around the C to the Mike (vs the GT will trap the DT). Front side T, jab step towards DT to influence, then blocks Mike as well, so get a nice doulbe on the Mike. No one blocks front side DT. Run this when DT is flying up field or reacting to the front side G pull, taking self out of play. The key on this play is picking up the extra blocker (backside G) to gut to the Mike.
I thought Moss was either down or scored. On that first drive. But he definitely fumbled!
Great video, but you have a Xman lineman is taller then the refs running the ball? lol. Great wing T plays too!
Their RB was a 11 year old ...5' 10"/205 lbs!
@@wingtsally649 Holly cow, in our leagues in our state, that is a x man lineman. cannot run the ball, but if I had him I would be going ok lets do run plays! LOL. Love the counter and waggle pass too.
Do you have the 1994 Rhode Island at Delaware game?
Yes
@@wingtsally649 How can i get that from you?
is this Kump?
@@johnnyboy3834 Yes sir. I will upload it around holiday time. Once I get some time.
@@wingtsally649 Sir? You don't know who this is?
Good stuff man first year coaching 3/4 grade This helped alot for direction
How long are you spending on each technique per practice? Would 5-6 minutes per blocking rule each practice be enough time for 2/3 graders?
@@ketolion I would suggest practicing all the techniques every offense practice for 20-25 mins in your Indy session.
There's only 10 I see on the feild
Go to about 1:15 once the vid forwards along. The safety is off the screen initially (and too deep!).
I count 11. The two linebackers are tight together and look like one person.
A classic!
I love the 5-3 its perfect for kids. I even bring up the safety
Can you post a video or some text on the diamond on the ball drill?
I will add this in the near future
Awesome!! Thank you
Great stuff man. Coaching 10year olds and we don’t have capabilities to film right now and this is what I’ve been preaching. This will be perfect for practice tonight.
Awesome game!
22-6. Great job! Coaches, if possible, I would like to email you guys and pick your brain.
Yes feel free to reach out.....ckumpon@msn.com
That long Moss catch that was ruled a fumble was one of the most pathetic calls that season. Guy reaches ball across goal line, ball comes loose when he hits the ground, in the endzone… and they ruled it a fumble 😅😅
I'm assuming SoCon refs.
@@icebergmm shouldn’t have been either league since it was an NCAA playoff game. I think the play just got away from them too far down the field
@@PioneerPA Your right 1:05:54 says their OVC refs..
Obvious fumble on the replay! Ball was out before he reached or went down.
@@jillconner5062right knee was down before he even reached forward. 8-288, 4TD.. he still did ok for himself
Attendance for this NCAA Division 1-AA Football First Round Playoff Game was 15,429 fans.

Is that future Chicago Bears Head Coach, Matt Nagy at QB for the Hens? I think so.
Nagy was a True Freshman in the '96 season and red shirted
@@wingtsally649 leo hamlett
I was at this game...5th row. Memorable for many reasons. Thanks for the footage. Navy wore down the Hens, and Navy was very good in 1995, so good that John Feinstein wrote a book about them and the Army team that year.
Courtney Batts was one nice receiver!!
The Delaware Wing-T is a very detail-oriented offense and this tape explains the blocking methods and procedures very well!! Great stuff!!
Boy, I tell you this Richmond game was dominated by defense and bad weather!! It's a shame someone had to lose this one, but I'm glad Tubby and Company pulled thru.
They did not pull through the next week against a very good, FBS bowl quality Navy team. Brutal game at Annapolis.. The size and strength of Navy won out.
Nice video coach! Sure would enjoy a similar video for the other offensive positions. Where in Pennsylvania is this team located?
He said Avondale, which is like an hour east of Philadelphia
@@colonelrobertsjr.7882 west of Philly
@@bananacrapshoot6469 Right!! LOL East of Philly would be Jersey
We need more game film of Tubby's Offense!!
I'll load more in the spring. Anything you specific you are looking for?
@@wingtsally649 I've been looking for some film during Rich Gannon's tenure from 83-86 for 50 and 70 series passing but whatever Delaware game film you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!
